Hello propertylanders, am about procuring a portion of land in isheri north GRA. Want to ask if there's anyone currently building/constructing a project in this axis, kindly let us know the pros and cons of building in this location, are these lands prone to flooding, is raft foundation a must for a duplex? What charges/development levies are to be paid before commencing the project and every other details or challenges to expect.

Depends on the part of the Estate. However raft is strongly recommended. I am building within the first gate and doing raft.

My project is close to the first gate. The area is waterlogged so I had to do raft foundation, I have since decked, roofed and about to start plastering anytime soon. Once you deck, fence and fill your compound, you will be fine, although the roads were not well done initially, the drainages were well done. I also did my soakaways so I could use the sand from there as part of the filing. Feel free to ask me more specific questions if you need to.

@jidody, thanks for dropping by, i would like to get the details of your builder then since he has an experience about the area, i dont want to bring someone that doesnt have an idea of that terrain so we dont run into some troubles when project starts, please can you drop your digits any contact i can use to reach you or your builder so i talk to him/her directly.... dont laugh at the "her" women don dey build now ooo...
