That measure is extreme I must say but there is nowhere in this world where criminals are treated with kid's glove . That being said , I hope you're aware that the same society wouldn't hesitate in burning him alive if he was an adult caught in this act.
If this incident happened in the West the child would be sent to a foster home and the Mom charged with child abuse and aggravated bodily harm but again we've seen how kids from foster homes are ending up under the same Government care and the ones in Juve aren't faring better as they are likely to become seasoned criminals as soon as they leave the Juve.

You're right and the child goes to a foster home and end up being sexually abused and he gets worse and become a menace to the society .

I do agree that this measure is extreme but again criminals don't get a pat on the back all over the world .
