Pls nairalanders help me out,i need to know how to upgrade my htc to Android 5.0.2. Pls if u have any idea or if ure Using a htc m7 help me out. Pls Its urgent

Go to xda, there are lots of stock based custom rom that a very stable for HTC one m7. I have been using lollipop for m7 with since March 2015.

If u are not ready to root it then check about phone and see if there's a software update, by now it should already be there. If its not there then u have to keep using t like that. If u want lollipop u have to root ur device. U can follow this link to root ur device, it is self explanatory.

Did you unlock your bootloader before flashing the ROM? If you did, can you please explain how? I wanted to flash the Google Play Edition plus ROM but it seems I need to unlock my bootloader.... so any help is appreciated. Thanks.

unlock your boot loader .,, root s-off then flash custom rom it's very easy . stay away from any sense 7 rom ., stick to sense 6 . sense 7 rom damages battery from m8 down .

Yes I unlocked my bootloader. I did this a long time ago so I've forgotten the steps, but it is easy if u follow instructions. First u need to check if ur bootloader is locked or unlocked. Then off ur phone, then press the volume down button and power button simultaneously for a few seconds, ur phone should boot into recovery. Then check the top, if it is unlocked it will say unlocked like the picture of my m7 below. If it is locked it will say locked. If unlocked, go ahead and root, if not then follow the link below to unlock ur bootloader.

Thanks man. It requires a computer but my laptop is incognito at the moment, so hopefully, when I get it back. Thanks again.
