QUESTION:Is it appropriate to describe the current agitation by the Indigenous People of Biafra for Biafra Republic as a transfer of aggression to the Nigerian state?

Those Indigenous People of Biafra have a hidden agenda. Their hidden agenda is to declare Biafra and then go recolonize the South-South.

They would go and within a question of less than one month they would capture all those South-South and colonise the oil fields that is the agenda of IPOB. If you look at the East, it is land-locked; they don’t have any serious minerals apart from coal.

Even the geography and geology of the East is so poor that even to build a good house they cannot unless you build a house in a bush because it’s all bush, it’s all forested and that is why you find the majority of the elite Igbo are now half of the owners of the houses in Abuja.

If the Indigenous People of Biafra are now saying that they want to have Biafra what are you going to do with more than three quarters of the Igbo who are outside the East?

Those in Kano, those in Lagos what are you going to do with then? Will you take all those people back to Biafra? They have no houses to live, they have no means of livelihood. They make money outside and not in the East so you find that they are crawling into fantasy world.

They were talking vaguely during former President Goodluck Jonathan administration but what is really happening is they still say that Nigeria is not fair to the Igbo. One, up till now they do not have an Igbo President...SAGIR MUHAMMAD.

I want to ask a question - how many people/tribes have Igbos colonalized?
Now let's talk about Fulani. I am not that great in history but I know that Fulani colonalized Hausas. Read Usman dan Fodio jihad of 1804 and get the clue. Fulanis colonalized the whole Hausas and most other tribes in the North. This issue of Igbos 'colonalizing' is a propaganda from Britain which Gowon & Co used to confused some people in south south to turn against Biafran soldiers. I just don't know why some people who are supposed to be educated should be spinning this British trash.
We know how aggressive Fulani herdsmen are and how they go to other tribes, kill and try to intimidate them.
Go and ask your history teachers if you know nothing about Igbos, Igbos don't 'colonalize' people but they don't let others 'colonalize' them. There is a reason why British rule was a total failure in Igboland, again anyone that doesn't know should go and ask around.

I do not care if someone embezzles money but highly disturbed when products of quota system and corruptible endeavors take the place of a leader in a society.

Let me add something to this issue of Biafra, since the man raised it. Let me take it that all he is saying about Biafra is true, they have no place to live, they will not make it if they become a country and are becoming problem to Nigeria... Why not let them to go with their problems and continue with your great country? This is exactly what wise peopl would do.
There is no wisdom in helping people who don't appreciate your gesture. Get rid of 'the pest' and have a rest of mind.
If this Biafrans don't contribute anything and still want to go their own way, isn't it wise to let them go with their Biafra and 'kill themselves'.

Let me analyse Hausa/fulani/yoruba thoughts on the issue.

Can Igbo colonize a South-South that it is also part of? Is akin to saying Nigeria has plans to colonize Lagos, when Lagos in itself is part of Nigeria.

Which media house reported this? If the piece is a true statement from Sagir Muh'd, then I wonder what love he as a northern(that is against 13%/25% derivation for ND) have for the south south people. From my understanding, the old Biafran map is not feasible. If there is going to be anything Biafra, it will be SE and parts of Delta/Rivers (if they are willing).
I don't leave in SE or worry about Biafra but i think it's time for a referendom to be conducted in the SE.
The north does not have problem with the Igbos leaving Nigeria but knows that their leaving means other countries will be created as the SW will never remain neither will the SS remain in Nigeria.
The truth is, the North needs the SW more as they can't do without the region (export of their agric products). The SE can reach agreement with SS as a small portion of land between Abia and the sea can be negotiated.
I know that if there be a true National confrence or the implementation of true federalism, Nigeria will be great again. But for now, there is nothing like one Nigeria.

I trust the SS not to waiver. While FG was using force to subdue biafran rebels during the war, the SS people helped to psychologically defeat the biafra agenda. Igbo thought they had the SS in their pocket, and rushed to war , but the SS was wiser and refused to join them. I guess this is why the igbo rebels of that war killed or tortured many people from the minorities of the SS.
