All I've been hearing has been bad about imo so to hear otherwise is nice. Has he made any headway on his industry, industry, industry campaign promise? Or is he getting hammered by low oil prices?

Anybody that tells you that Rochas is working is not just a lier but the devil himself! I am in Owerri & I can authoritatively inform you that governance is on holyday here, just yesterday, the same Rochas said that Imo state is broke, that the interest he is paying on the bail-out money he stvpidly collected is why he cant meet up with his obligations. The whole of Douglas road, one of the most important & busiest roads in Owerri has been turned into a sprawling market yet he turns a blind eye. Imo is now competing with Osun state as two of Nigeria's failed states! Its a pathetic situation we have in Imo state today & atimes I wonder if the governor choose to be wicked on purpose!!

these things have been uncompleted for a long time. Are we meant to be celebrating uncompleted structures that have lasted for four years? When they become open for use , we will know.

And how many other eastern governors owe their workers ?

I mean the ones done between 2015 and now. For example look at this bridge under construction which nobody can claim to have heard of. Meanwhile it is right there in the heart of Owerri crossing the wide part of Nworie River. Okorocha has been under media siege and he seems uninterested.

Endorsed #1.. I dont know whats going on with Ifeanyi Uguwanyi in Enugu.. Sullivan Chime made the work a lot easy for him unlike the case with the predecessors of Anambra, Abia and Ebonyi.

well am comparing them with their first eight months in office, the truth be told rochas takes the last bench. Someone like umahi built two flyovers within this period and many roads unlike rochas that came patching roads he built in his first tenure

All the Governors are owing workers but Okorocha is singled out because he opposed Jonathan. Example Rivers State is owing months but how many times have you read it here? Same with Anambra, Abia and Enugu.

your hatred for Rochas of Nigeria won't make you see dt d guy mentioned so many projects he s executing n no media funfare unlike others who want unnecessary attention. Hate Rochas for being APC all u want, it won't stop us Nigerians from voting him the next president after PMB. we love him and there s nothing any hate filled IPOB can do about it.

It's good that our governors are doing well but does it end there? What we hear is building road bla bla!... for the ones I know, in no particular order;
1. Ugwuanyi is building roads in Nsukka and sub urbs of Enugu like the Orie Emene to Adoration road and the Nowas to T-jumction, and also paying salaries,but I've not seen moves by the state government to diversify the economy through massive investment drives and robust ventures into agriculture.
2. Obiano is doing the right things expected of him especially after a solid foundation laid by his predecessor. It is heartwarming that their combined efforts is improving the investment fortunes of the state. Let him continue!
3. Umahi has the passion and the drive to lift Ebonyi out of poverty but let it not end at building roads and paying salaries. For ebonyi to move forward, some out of the box initiatives in Agriculture, Mining and Human capital development are needed.
4. Ikpeazu is working! what I hear is road, road, road in Aba(Yes! Aba needs roads); with no other sustainable initiative to lift the whole state. I'm yet to hear about structural actions taken towards improving eqiutably the health care system, Making the Educational system better(like his other colleagues in Enugu and Ebonyi) and an impactful set of drives towards improving the economic lot of Abia artisans!...Roads don't impress real men any longer! It is basic and the easiest way out.
5. Rochas has being a colossal failure since mid 2013 when he started showing his true colours. He doesn't have a coherent development agenda and any implementation is harphazard! Roads are largely substandard and his initiatives are laced with deceit and propaganda! What we need in IMO is an immediate change but for the sake of clearing his own mess, he should stay there for now! Worst in the south east by all standards!

i can only speak on abia state. Ikpeazu have made some strives in wooing investors into abia state. There is this proposed industrial layouts by the spanish investors for production footwares and other accessories (we can call on Ponponkon to elaborate on that). He have made many input into the abia state university and is trying to revive the some water pumping stations across the state. But i think i am not satisfied with his agricultural moves and developments. He has done nothing worthy of noting in this area. Abia has a very vast cocoa producing area, the okigwe/isuikwuato cashew plantations a left in reigns. There is no clear agricultural policy or investment yet.

All the same I can say confidently that none of the South East governors bar Obiano is spectacular... All of them are bang average!! doing the basics, just borrow to pay salaries build roads with the remaining part of the loan nothing much else.... not much initiative !!!

Anambra and Enugu are not owing. Even ebonyi and abia have cleared the backlog of salaries from the past administration.

They are owing. Ebonyi is the only State I'm not certain about their status. Various parastatals and agencies are owed in all the other States and some have been on strike but the media has little interest in them.
