Jonathan sef... This could have built us the best of refineries and saved our naira the undue pressure it's facing. Where was gej's head as a the president? I believe that heartless hat-capped man was sent to destroy this country- thank God we realized before time. Inasmuch as I hate the fact that he was called an 'effectual bufoon', I think a certain part of me is begining to establish a very strong linkages between gej and that description. 1 Like |

@ ~N155/$, the figure (N15.97tn) amounts to a dollar equivalent of ~$100b. What a huge drain on our FX Reserves! --- Getting all existing refineries to work at optimal production levels is an absolute necessity to reverse this trend. New refineries will help supply the West African sub-region, making Nigeria earn badly needed foreign exchange. |

If we are going to develop our economy for real and strengthen our Naira, we must find a way to stop the importation of petroleum products. It's the single highest drainpipe on our forex earnings. If we can solve this problem, we would have solved about 50% of the problems that usually leads to the instability of our exchange rate. |
