What do u mean by giving ur life to Christ? Which life? Do u own a life? Where did u get the life?

another question where in the bible did jesus says "give your life to me"
"i'm your personal lord and saviour"

but pastors do say that often. "If u want to give ur life to Christ, come forward to the alter."

It is another way of saying yield/surrender to Him as Lord. Meaning He takes control of your life and one of the blessedness is freedom from the old master - sin. There is no vacuum or middleground. It's either Him or sin

Explain what you mean no 'middleground'. Are you saying that everyone who didnt give their life to him are immersed in sin and those who did are sinless? Tell that to the people in the kalahari.
