gemale: My learned bro, I never said Unilorin website is never asked, I said I have never heard of it. by the way, I don't know if you know what it actually means for a website to be hacked. When a website is hacked, is won't be silent and unknown. There are several times I have heard of universities websites being hacked. Some of them are, Kogi state university http://www.elitesplanetblog.com/2015/11/kogi-state-university-ksusta-official.html?m=0 Federal university of technology Owerri http://www.tori.ng/news/4500/futo-school-website-hacked-by-suspected-students-s.html Olabisi Onabanjo university http://www.myschoolgist.com.ng/ng/olabisi-onabanjo-university-hacked/ kano state university http://www.myschoolnewz.com/forum2_theme_816035.xhtml?tema=3459 And the list continues. So, my respected boss, if you can show us when is Unilorin website hacked by the way people will believe your accusation. Thanks for your anticipated response |

Ishilove: Thank you Sir for your logic observation but I must also beseech you to go over the essays we dropped because contrary to your observation, we supported social media regulations giving candid and cogent reasons for that and we highlighted the areas uncensored social media has been causing havoc to the Nigerians and Nigeria. War on insurgency in Nigeria will be won as I said if we regulate social media. Yes, we have seen and heard of cases of Bokoharam using that loophole to fight our army in ambush and leads to their massacre. For a person to detonate bomb in the army barrack, only social media interaction can accomplish that. And once, it's regulated, the battle is won 1 Like |

gemale:there was this news that went viral "computer science student hacked out pause (to pause the timing while undergoing computer based test cbt). The end result shows truely they were able to pause the time but inreality the time never stop ticking (they get to know that after unpausing the time). Was that hacking or a practical waste of time? The GSE stuff, that wasnt hacking but an internal problem experienced by the school admin as of then. The questions were set (written and typed before uploading) and inbetween these three process different hands were able to lay their finger on the question and for their personal gain start selling it out to students with interest. Those were not hacking but a studentship waste of limited time and act of corruption within the admin staffs as of then. 2 Likes |

mustybura: I support the registration, but the Senate should not be allowed to abuse this. The body where all bloggers registered with should be able to come in and track all immorality even before posting thus could be via creating a software (application) of which all information to upload on SOSO media will have to pass through screen before dissemination, here in Nigeria we have a body regulating that already I guess. This will as fast as anything done on the Internet because there are applications which can take care of this already left to the authorities to act to its effects. In fact Nigeria government can as well regulate kind of websites Nigerians will be visited and type of information there present, this has been done in Japan years a go and it works perfectly for them. China once stop Chinesefrom log in to Google, if this is possible we can do that here in Nigeria. Irrespective of moral concept of the individual to me immorality got no other name and always treated the same every where. A free thinker strike balance in relating to other fellow human being, so nothing bad in setting standard for SOSO media in Nigeria. |

To say the fact, the contestants have really tried to justify their stance with cogent points despite the difficultness of the side of argument they found themself, because ordinarily to convince we youth of today that social media should be censored is not easy. But, wait oo... where are these Akokites? Hope they would not come and cause e-riot on nairaland when they are awake from their sleep. |
