tropical agricultural crop known to man that
cannot be grown in Nigeria. With a transition
from subsistence to mechanized agriculture,
Northern Nigeria alone can produce enough
food to feed the whole of Africa.

North can produce all the food we need,
thereby liberating valuable resources. Already,
it is the North that feeds the South in Nigeria.

Virtually all Southern food crops and livestock
come from the North. Much of Nigeria’s water
resources are also in the North. With the right
policy mixes, the North will earn for Nigeria
billions of dollars annually from agriculture.

Our Niger-Delta brothers should not get too carried away by their oil. If their oil is a national resource today, so will Northern agriculture and agro-allied industries be national resources tomorrow. Oil is a wasting asset. its no longer an expensive natural resources. However, Northern agriculture will never expire.

Northern resources

There is something else besides. There can be no doubt that there is oil in the North. It is only a matter of time before it is discovered. The geography and topography of the North and the discovery of oil in surrounding areas is a testament to this eventuality. Since there is oil in Cameroon, Chad and Niger Republic, the chances are pretty good that Northern states like Bauchi, Borno, Sokoto and Niger will one
day become oil-producing states.

Moreover, the North is rich in mineral resources, far richer than the South.

what befell her can befall your family member too. was this girl blocking the road? when the convoy of the COAS scattered the chaotic ones on the road, and killed a few and passed through, why did soldiers later come back to attack the house of the cleric, the mosque, and other locations? one day you can return to your village in the the South or South East or South West, and become a victim because some of your village folks blocked a road. shame! how many churches and mosques block roads for religious service? no one has been shot.you are supporting the killings against Shiites because they are minority? are you Sunni? you are so heartless like Sunni-Wahhabi terrorists who blow up people of other faiths. this is not right.

This sums it all up, even in Lagos if an army personnel or group were passing through and you blocked the road it is a sign of disrespect. Imagine an SS3 student and a young girl involved in such nonsense, this clearly speaks to the way youths are manipulated in this country. If they had better parents or elders in the community they would have been warned against such demonstrations. Religion is not worth getting injured or dying for,it's just not worth it!
