i live in a country where everything about a child is well monitored.

my health visitor (that visits my baby at home to check on him and ensure he is well and hitting all his milestones) is fully aware/advised on reducing the ratio of water to the formula as she said its one of the main reasons why some babies are constipated.

the cheaper brand you switched to will definitely contain a lower percentage of whatever composition when compared with the high end brands which is why your baby wasn't constipated even though you stuck to the guidelines on the team.

my baby is on Aptamil. sticking to the Aptamil's suggested scoops leaves him constipated - i have tried this twice.

Chinwe, I know you don't mean any offence & none was taken..... My infant isn't on golden morn.. he is on gerber cereal+ formula...

My older kids were 6 & 3+ then, the deed had been done. ... it was never ALL they took, it was just a means to an end.. .. I didn't notice anything untoward from it when they took it, & they've always been at the right weight percentile...

Maize & soya are what people give to even 3-4mths old baby, so I personally don't feel it is that big of a deal... my LBK I may not give out of paranoia, but if there hadn't been debate about it, I may have put it in nearest future plan...


I still believe Nestlé were on a PR spin though... cos most people have fed it to their kids & wanted to avoid a PR nightmare..

Madam abeg, take it easy o. this is the second time I will see you do this on this thread and its not healthy at all. You are not the custodian of all knowledge
Firstly, it was the issue of cough and cold syrup. Pediatricians says that it's not appropriate for children under 6years, you are saying it is. And I believe you are not a doctor, I agree that these drugs are sold over the counter but pediatricians are warning we mothers to stop using them and you were taking the issue personal like you know more than they do.
About the formula ,I have it on my brand of formula not to reduce the scoop or increase it as it can cause illness, I use to use isomil, I am sure it's written on nan too. Not everyone uses Aptamil and not everyone can use aptamil.
You may tag other formulas cheap but we are using them for our little ones proudly.
So madam, be considerate when you are making comments and read widely too. Thanks.

Between 1.5-1.7k for the big tub, the small tub is 900h, started with Rice @ 4mths though, just like the sound of multigrain...

& that gerber nor get taste ooo but I like that sugar is not a factor now, dem go still chop sugar tire...

when the twins were growing, e.g
twin girl opened eyes when she was born. bobo no open till one day later. I started to panic
when bobo opened, he dint trail anything with it. aunty will look at anything danglingh.
I started to conclude that my son was blind.

when they started cereal, aunty will finish one bottle, broad will manage half- till today

when they started to sit, aunty will sit fine... I can't count how many times bobo hit his head in his crib
I concluded, his spine is weak

when I started spoon feeding... I cried! till today, my son can't take a spoon well, aunty go finish am.

aunty was the first to hear her name
first to clap
first to crawl
first to drink from a cup
first to call 'ma-ma' and Dada
first to wave bye bye
first to mimic any sound.

although my son now does some other things she doesn't, like climb the stairs all d way up, climbs everything infact, dances like a pro to " reekado sugar baby" but son is just picking up on most things. he has just started handling a cup at 11months, he says "chady" (daddy) with his 8 teeth, he won't eat food given to him, while mama will stuff her mouth with big big yam, while my heart will be saying the "don't choke" prayer (u dare not mash her yam. u dare not!)

in conclusion, girls are faster.
so don't compare and have high bp
