I'm actually a children teacher in the church and as usual don't listen to sermon on sundays. But I learnt something from one of my children today when I was teaching them about Noah's Ark. I asked the class a question " why is it that God doesn't do things Himself instead He makes us do it.?"

The little boy replied " so that we will not be scared." So I asked him to explain and he said " Aunty if you wake up and just a see a very big house in ur compound will u not run away?"

I've never seen it from this angle. God does speak to us in different ways. I learnt that today.

Genesis 4 verse 3-4. After some time, Cain brought some of his harvest and gave it as offering to the Lord. Then Abel brought first lamb born to one of his sheep,killed it and gave the best part of it as an offering. The Lord was please with Abel and his offering.
Summarily, let us give to the house of God our first fruit wholeheartedly and let's see what almighty God will do for us. The coming of our Lord Jesus is at hand. Happy sunday brethren

I learnt something , many people dont like doing because it is very hard for them , I learnt the secret of giving first fruit ,and the secret of giving,paying your tithes , offering , giving to the needy , you cant recieve if you dont give, i have being practicing this and it works for me , if you give you wont lack,even if it is the last cash on you, i am talking from experience.

I learnt that sin (no matter how little) must not be condoned in our hearts. It shouldn't be tolerated at all.

Cain was angry that his sacrifice was not acceptable to GOD. Then he became envious of Abel, his brother, whose sacrifice was accepted.
Before he knew it, the thought of killing his brother gained ground in his heart and he ended up commiting the grievous sin.

Judas Iscariout too allowed greed to grow in his heart till he betrayed Jesus.

Our pastor implored us to quickly cry out to Jesus when any form of sin comes in. We are to act fast before the sin grows so large and gets out of control.
