Hi guys As it is dat innjoo don't have any intension of bringing lollipop to innjoo fire plus 3g with great spec's made so many user's get discouraged about the phone...the innforum is just useless cos no one will reply or provide help for the innjoo fire plus. Although I knw did phone lags most time mostly the hotness while playing FIFA 16 and other HD games,its still a gud device......for the money at least.#27k. I know many of u have searched Google like mad for any lollipop ROM but to no avail.too bad I also Google up a lot and got nothing .but thank God someone created a couple of ROMs for dis device.........the credit goes to mtkroms.com first for their brilliant job and then to the admin of the facebook page ;- "innjoo fireplus owners in egypt" and the gurus that help patch things up on the roms ie Mohammed atef,tarék sarék and the rest. althoug i had problems of understanding majority of their Post cos they we're in Arabic BT thanks to Google translate and many of them DAT can understand English. Now back to business..... If you got software issues with ur phone u can state it down for help. I gonna posting the lollipop ROM called cm12.1 aka cyanogenmod 12.1. Here are the pics... I wanna see interest before I commence.

Lets start now Note:-custom ROM will always have few glitches at times so I'll brief y'all about it... 1st is that it is hightly stable though BT u can't change default storage to SD as it is stuck in phone internal.....I have 32gb memory card so I can cope cos my data's are in my mc. Next is that VPN like psiphon don't work in whole device mode.....dats the known bug's perhaps...... BT WiFi,calls,etc works well..... Get ur phones rooted with kingroot v4.5 upwards ...make sure u have a stable data while ur are using kingroot to root ur phone if not it won't go tru...if u are rooted already then alert me so we'll proceed |

OK guys......after rooting you will need to flash a custom recovery .....if u are already on custom recovery either twrp or cwm and u have successfully backup ur ROM den u can skip did step. I know many of us don't have laptops including me bt tutorial wont need any laptop....but pls be carefull so u dont Bleep things up... Next download rashr flash tools from play store or side load the apk from other website.. Install.,it. Next download the cwm recovery image file to flash from this link https://mega.nz/#!5Q1giaAI!ceAdkrD9BYzjMxFUHlJsWGsfN_TRRyuVUIycI6oEgMM The link will direct you to download the mega app on playstore....no problem just download the mega and install it,after installing mega...just cum back and click the recovery image link again then it will take u straight to the installed mega app and ur download will start from the mega app. After downloading the recovery image,put it in the root of ur SD card (just put it in sdcard direct and not in any folder of ur SD card)... Okay.....next open ur rashr flash tool....it will request Root permission.... Grant it, it may updates its binary if u have data on,but if u don't no P......it will show u a page den click "I know the risk'".... Next click on recovery on storage..... And locate the recovery image on the root of ur SD card....tap on it and flash.....it will ask to reboot after flash.....den it will take u straight to the flashed cwm recovery.... U can backup ur ROM if u have space..if u don't have enough space ...there will be and error while backing up ur ROM. After backing up ur ROM (highly recommended) u can't process d to next step.....let me know when ur are all ready.sorry I couldn't Post with pics am getting late for class... |

Atyem:do u have enof storage space in ur SD..... If you don't den free up at least 3.6gb if u knw u installed lots of apps like me.....I got abt 100 plus apps apart from stock apps......if u don't have DAT kinda storage den backup important apks and apps and msg contact et all and restore factory settings to make the backup consume less storage .......den backup ur ROM..... In did case the backup Will be Small |

Now guy.....if you have successfully backup ur ROM den proceed to download the ROM here :- https://mega.nz/#!68M1XB6K!1_sIyYfoJMfaxACCyVJw7uf12fNB5M3r9ar52Hq0qh8 Den download gapps from dis link ;- http://downloadandroidrom.com/file/gapps/5.1/gapps-L-4-21-15.zip HOW TO FLASH. Put both the rom file and gapps.zip file into the root of ur sd cad....Boot into recovery by powering ur phone off totally and den press the volume up and power button same time the phone will boot into the cwm recovery that u recently flashed....in the recovery u will be using ur volume button to navigate and ur power button to select,....(for the newbies).....then wipe/factory reset the phone....then clear cache......den goto advanced and clear dalvik cache.... Den after doing all did ur phone is finally set to flash ur new ROM.......pls make sure u backup ur ROM cos if anything goes wrong ....u just have to restore ur backup..... Now To flash the new ROM....if ur done with the dalvik cache u should go back to the first page of ur recovery u will see install zip....enter install zip from SD card then locate the ROM file u downloaded and select it....Wait and let the phone do the rest. After its successful then enter install zip again from SD card and select the gapps.....den u can reboot after the gapps flashing is completed...... If ur successful post ur screenshot.....gat any QST just drop it and I'll replay with answers...... Sorry for the typos...really don't like writing or typing too much.. 1 Like |

I love the cm rom, but the only con as earlier stated is the inability to use vpn app like psiphon cos my network depends on that. How I wish there is a way round it. Thanks stanboy28 |
