. Thanks bro! I chatted with one of the prof in the department of econs who happened to be a Nigerian and he told me GRE is not compulsory. Though he didn't tell me when the admission will be out.

No they don't require GRE just a proof of English proficiency letter from your uni, transcript and 2 Reference letters

Hi everyone,
I have been going through this forum since yesterday hence my appeal for help.

Is there anyone on this forum who is into Canadian college admission consulting, my wife(29) applied for practical nursing in Durham college last year but she was denied admission. She already had a degree from Nigeria in 2009, but we have lived in the UK since 2012 when I came here for my M.SC. Since we came here, she has been interested in nursing and has even done a 1 year diploma and health and and social care through her job.

She is interested in nursing and we are finding a school in Ontario. Please let me know if you can help.

Regards all.

What reason was given for denying her admission?

Please you do not need a consultant just look up schools in ontario and mail them, most college admissions are very easy.

Hello Everyone,

I hope you guyz have a great day?. I keep receiving a lot of emails on how I was able to secure a supervisor and the email I sent to my proposed supevisor(s). I decided to post the message for the people whose program required a supervisor before your application can be considered for admission. Find below the email I sent to them ;

Dear Professor xxxx,

I am xxxx, a graduate assistant at the Department of xxxx, University of xxxx, Nigeria. I am planning to attend graduate school in University of xxxx with a focus on  xxxx.I hope you don’t mind my getting in touch, but I’d like to inquire whether you are currently accepting graduate students for FALL 2016. If you are, would you willing to talk to me a bit more, by email or on the phone,  about my graduate school plans?

I have explored your department’s graduate school website in detail, and it seems like an excellent fit for me because of its emphasis on xxxx. Thanks very much.Find below/above my RESUME and TRANSCRIPT.

Sincerely,
Your name
And what was the professor's reply when you sent this?..

Pls house for those that submitted their application while they were still serving.how did you fill your employment details.
If applying online under which category should your call up letter,Nysc Id etc be uploaded

@thebae @cocolav @DPizzy et all

Call up letter was among supporting documents. I mentioned I was serving in my letter of explanation, under employment history I put my PPA which aligned with my course of study. If it doesn't align...e.g teaching when you studied banking then put it there and tell them it's to develop your communication and leadership skills for your future career objective in academia.

Hello house, I need your advice on how to go about this. My sponsors statement of account was printed from the 2011 till date. Just about five pages. He open the account with about 6m and has never withdrawn a dime from the account. The problem is that the money is usually rolled over every 180 days I.e its goes to fixed deposit account and this is visible on the SOA. The money is meant to mature into his account by first week of march. My question now is, can this serve as a good Soa? He also wrote a letter stating that the funds will mature by march and will be available to pay the balance of my fees which is about 11k canadian dollars (1500 deposit has been paid). He also stated he has no need for the money until now. I have 2m in my account. The balance in the account aside the booked sum is about 200k. House please advice. I intend to apply by next week.
Thanks

Seems we had similar situations. My Mum's SOA had no withdrawals at all. I submitted it but can't remember if I explained it or not in my LOE.

Hello Friends,

Just wondering if there's any1 currently studying in any of the Ontario colleges or universities or planning to move soon to further his/her education, let's hook up (55D1E10F). I'm planning to move soon to Toronto on PR status and I would like to further in order to boost my qualification...less than a year post graduate certification though. Also, has anyone here done certification in any of this program before: 1, I.T Business Analysis
2, Business Intelligence System Infrastructure
3, Information Systems Business Analysis
4, Information System Security ?
What is the cost implication?

My Ppa correlates with my intended course of study and I explained in my sop, but the Vo ticked personal asset and financial status for me ..someone said I gave the Vo the impression I was gainfully employed
Did you include your Nysc Soa??

Yes I included my SOA. Personal asset and financial status sometimes depends on your age. For example a 30 year old going for a bachelors with an uncle/aunt as a sponsor. So I can't advice you without knowing your overall situation.

Good day all!
I didn't know where to go for advice on Canadian student visa. I have a Masters degree from a UK university. I'm currently doing my Nysc and I'm aiming to further my studies in Canada. The thing is I am not looking to apply for a PhD. My question is can I apply for another Masters or advanced degree in Canada?

Okay, have been searching for schools online and because of my grade of 3:04 don't think I qualify to apply for a graduate course so I will have to go through the post graduate route. I just need assistance in getting a school that will offer me admission and also cheap thanks
