There is nothing at oil mill market...I got my stuffs at Momsi (along artillery), Goshen baby shop (market jinction) & another shop beside First Rivers hospital but it all depends on your budget cos stuffs I got are expensive. A colleague suggested Aba, if you have the strength you can go.

I beg oo, I too dey stool. It's comes with stomach pain. Have been given amoxin should it be any infection, is amoxin safe?

How do I stop the stooling? Being having it constantly. Today own na something else.

As a result of the stooling I hardly take fruits, I took apple yesterday and today I don't find it funny.

My poo also has been green/black, is this normal?

My office clinic gave me amoxin and orl to be mixed in water. I took that today and it helped stop the stool.

My clinic gave me flagyl and moko anti diarrhrea, Dr in my office clinic said I should stop the moko anti diarrhrea that it's not good in pregnancy, I was given three weeks ago and really when I was using it the stool became better. Don't know what to do.

What do I do to stop frequent stooling?

Personally all the medications am being given I don't use them cos am afraid it might cause some harm. Ie, amoxin, flagyl, moko anti diarrhrea (this was using the moko thing before another dr advise against it) etc.

Which is better and safe for stooling in pregnancy?

i ususally stool sometimes when preggy and i eat dry bread, it hardens it and gradually stops. i think its part of the package cos when am in my period i purge too and mum told me menstrual symptoms are similar to preggy issues. i don't use any drug, sometimes i prefer it to nausea as it allows me replenish unlike nausea. i bake my bread myself so i know the content. also try find out what you eat that increases it

Olubankemi, do you eat a lot of vegetables as in leaves, cucumber,cabbage, garden eggs? They encourage bowel movement and eating them too often may overstimulate the bowel.
It could even be salad. Or if you eat out it could be foodpoisoning.
If you rule them all out then it is part of your package. Enjoy it while it lasts

Morning to all. My 10mnths lo cries and strains a lot whenever he wants to poop (though he poops in 3 days interval b4 now). First we thought it was because of the cereal he was taking, so we change it to cook pap (ogi) and peak milk step 1 but no changes yet. He is still been breastfed. I hear it is normal to have lower abdominal pain (i dont know about severe tho) at the this stage due to the growing size of ur LO. Some days are better than others depending on the his/her sitting position. It is very normal to have pressure on ur bladder. some days sef u actually feel painful kicks on the bladder when the chap has his/her legs down there. I get those these days but my remedy is to either sing to him or move around so much from side to side so he is forced to change position. i read that trick online. If the pain is unbearable, maybe u should call your Dr. and complain.

You need to identify the cause of the runny tummy and eliminate it from your diet fast. If your doc is a gyn then go with his recommendation. If no then pls see a gynaecologist. Its not nice to stool a lot in pregnancy.



@ preggy mamas, Pls apply caution when eating bread in these days of lassa fever. Most bread factories bake at night and distribute in the morning. The storage condition is story for another day. If you must eat bread then try to toast it.
