You need insurance for a lot of things. A rancher will insure their cattle in case something happens to their livelihood. Celebrities also take out insurance for various reasons. Here are some celebrities which have taken out policies for unique reasons.

MILEY CYRUS – TONGUE $1 MILLION

Miley Cyrus has taken a page out of Gene Simmon’s book and insured her tongue. Her tongue is now worth a cool $1 million dollars. She is an American singer, songwriter, and actress.

RIHANNA: LEGS – $1 MILLION

Some say Rihanna is the next Tina Turner so her legs are insured for $500,000 each in case something should happen to them. She also joins Tina Turner which happens to be on this list too.

HEIDI KLUM – LEGS $2 MILLION

Heidi Klum’ legs are insured for $2 million. The right leg has a little more insurance than her left does. Her left leg has a scar on it, which brings down the value some. It’s still a pretty good deal when both your legs are insured for about a million each.

JULIA ROBERTS – SMILE $30 MILLION

Julia Roberts has a nice smile and it’s so nice that she had it insured for a huge $30 million. She now has a smile worth 30 “million dollar smiles” as the saying goes.

JENNIFER LOPEZ – BOOTY $300 MILLION

Jennifer Lopez has her rear end insured for $300 million. She is known as the first booty superstar and has taught women to embrace their posteriors for over two decades.

KIM KARDASHIAN – BOOTY $21 MILLION

Kim Kardashian’s booty is worth $21 million. That is $9 million less than Jennifer Lopez, but it’s still a hefty sum to insure your rear end from damage. Note that she was the one who broke internet one day!


MADONNA – BOOBS $2 MILLION

Madonna has a great stage presence, but has also taken out insurance on her body parts. She had her breasts insured for $2 million. She does have a lean and athletic body do it’s a wonder she didn’t have the rest of her body insured too.

TAYLOR SWIFT – LEGS $40 MILLION

Taylor Swift is the top pop star of this generation and her legs and now worth $40 million. They may even be worth more than that do to her popularity, but $40 is a good chunk of change to retire on.

BETTE DAVIS – WAIST $28,000 = $2 MILLION TODAY

Bette Davis had insured her waist for $28,000 back in the day, and that calculates to over $2 million in today’s dollars. This is one of the first famous body parts that were insured.

Bette Davis had one of the first famous insurance policies on a body part, with a $28,000 policy on her waist. Today, that would come out to around $2 million after inflation.

BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN – VOCAL CHORDS $6 MILLION

Bruce Springsteen is known for his gravely singing and music. He had his vocal chords insured for $6 million should he be unable to sing again. Should he have some sort of catastrophic throat injury he’s be sitting fine with the money.

DAVID BECKHAM – LEGS, FEET & TOES $195 MILLION

David Beckham may be retired from playing soccer, but his legs, feet, and toes are till insured for $195 million. That’s a lot of money for this former soccer superstar to retire on.

CRISTIANO RONALDO – LEGS $144 MILLION

Cristiano Ronaldo is a Portuguese football player and his legs are insured for $144 million. This isn’t as much as Beckham’s $195 million dollar legs, but it’s still impressive.


TROY POLAMALU – HAIR $1 MILLION

Troy Polamalu is an NFL player and he has his hair insured for $1 million. His hair is more important than his NFL skills which aren’t all that great. If someone was to cut his hair in a prank he could cash in big time.

TOM JONES – CHEST HAIR $7 MILLION

Tom Jones makes music, but his chest hair is more important than his vocal chords as it’s insured for $7 million. You can look this one up if you don’t believe it, but it’s true.

TINA TURNER – LEGS $3.2 MILLION

Tina Turner has expensive legs which are insured for $3.2 million which is a big insurance policy for your gams. Rihanna needs to catch up as hers are only worth $1 million.
