I just got an offer letter from a good organisation one can build is career with, but the issue is I am to be based outside lagos. My question is will they provide accommodation or provide some little money that one can use to cater for accommodation for the time bn? Pls your timely response will be so much appreciated.

You're supposed to find out that information from the company or at least, other fellow staff members. How are we supposed to know the company's policy

Its suppose to be stated on the offer letter if there is, but accept the offer and ask them if there is relocation allowance.

OP, you're not even supposed to have gotten that job with your level of reasoning (no insult meant). How are we now going to answer your question when you're being too conservative? You cannot even tell us the name of the company. With what information are we going to use to know the name of the company and then answer your question?

Most companies do not give relocation allowance to new employees. What most MNC do is give a soft landing in form of upfront, hotel accommodation for few weeks etc. You are not entitled to anything until after your first month. Was there any form of induction, if there is , which takes weeks in some cases, you would have known how to go about it.

Anyway, your HR advisor should be able to inform you what you are entitled to and what the comapny policy says about your situation. Talk to them.

Most MNC will pay for relocation allowance, at where I worked, the relocation allowance is calculated by multiplying your gross monthly income by two. Please don't blame the op, relocation allowance is not stated in offer letter.
