What is it with the core Hausa girl thing. There is nothing like 'core hausa', it's just like saying core Yoruba or core igbo or core idoma. Besides the people of northeast speak hausa as a general language but we all have our dialects and a few hausa settlers. Izge is a marghi settlement, that's their language.
Southern part of Borno state have a very high number of Christians. Have you heard of Prophet Isa El-buba? He is a kanuri man from Borno and also a Christian.

May God grant all the good desires you have in this life, and may you never lack any good thing. I have given up on trying to educate Southerners about the diversities of the North. That poster you responded to, is very myopic. In his view, being Hausa means you are automatically a muslim. Many Southerners forget that Hausa is just widely spoken in the North, by several different tribes who are NOT even Hausa.
