well like you said if its "clean", then probably you have nothing to worry ,...but clean or no clean , make sure no fault or check engine lights on the instrument cluster come on when the engine is running , my fear of "naija used" cars is coming from the fact that most of us do not do regular/proper servicing of our vehicles, coupled with our very bad roads. well hopefully it wont be a "lemon" ride ..like you said its clean. Remember to ask the seller when the last servicing was done & what was involved (Engine oil change, ATF change etc), if you can go and inspect with a trusted & competent Benz mechanic , & if the seller is sincere enough he/she would even allow you to carry out a SCAN . Please house, my C 200 Kompressor 2004 keeps on jecking when am on gear one or two but fires well when above 40. The benz is manual. I have changed my fuel filter, plugs, maf, atuetor infact the list is endless but still no improvement. Please any solution.

Is like d mech overfill the oil.

Try checking the gauge of the oil from the dip stick , in order to know if its been over filled.

Then carry out a scan on the car to know more about the mystery smoke .

Brother I totally disagree with you,..try not to mislead people here please. SCANNING does not HEAL your car automatically, its like being sick & going to run a test , running a TEST, does not heal you , but the result of the test guides the treatment process.
its the same thing when you scan your Vehicle, when you notice abnormal behavior. In most cases "Error Codes" are produced from the scans, Theses error codes help you narrow the fault , rather than doing trial & check method like our mechanics have been used to for ages, trial & error methods, waste time, money & brings about damages . So if you want to continue with trial & error method, good luck
I have always depended on SCANNING my car & it has saved me a lot of money , time & mechanic headaches.

These are codes from d scan: P0004,P2024,P0625,P05313,P1420,P0100

Good you have carried out a SCAN , now investigate each error code, fix & begin elimination , until all codes are cleared . e.g P0100 Mass or Volume Air Flow Circuit Malfunction, (clean it or change it)

P0400, Clogged EGR Valve (Exhuast Gas Recirculation valve), it needs to be cleaned its blocked , too much soot & oil deposits , this valve sends some of the exhaust gas back into the engine for cooling process especially in high speed driving. I once had this vault on my ml 350, I just took it to my mechanic & showed him the valve & he loosed it & we cleaned it & installed back & cleared the codes & the codes did not reappear.

Investigate each error code one at a time, make google your friend , no new faults , every problem has been experienced by somebody somewhere, check youtube too, the solutions may be as simple as ABC too

Bro ,who mentioned that scanning heal car automatically ?you still have many things to learn o ,you are just chanced to see a mere code reader and you feel that is alpha and omega of diagnosing issue on car ,how can u suggest that scanning should be done for a car that is smoking ?u can as well suggest scanning for engine abnormal noice o.
Yes you are right scanning is one of the first line of auto-diagnotics procedure but there is much more to autodiagnotics procedure than scanning .
Scanning is just the using of code reader to retrieves DTC from you car computer ,depending on the sophistication level of your car obd2 system .Even my two year old daughter can run a scan on your car ,what matter is the skill set necessary to narrow down the issue and the availability of other auto diagnotics tools to narrow down the root of the problem .
There is more than other hundred of other dedicated auto -diagnostics tools that does separate functions from what a scanner will afford u.
Tell me what scanner will diagnose overheating issue,engine smoking,engine leak ,low compression issue,strange nice in engine ,voltage drop etc .this is just to tell u that there is much more to car autodiagnotics than what a scanner can give you.
Personally I feel anybody collecting fee for only retrieving DTC from your car with a so called -scanner is reaping you off ,more test need to be perform dig down most of the time.

and i also know there are different grades of OB2 code readers/scanners / diagnostic tools. And yes I own a portable hand scanner that i usually use for first aid, these things are not Rocket Science ,(remember google is also my friend) & when the matter pass me & my research , I have a friend with a Star diagnostic tool, so am well covered.
About your offer, i think am gonna pass on that one,...but maybe when ever i come around lagos maybe i could visit your shop & maybe if am also lucky i could meet the 2 year old Genius , she should be on TV if she really can do that
