They will tell you that those are Cameroonian soldiers

Don't underestimate Fat IPOB wailers

fulanimafia:
Kindly ask the propagandist for the juicy details... grin

Our troops gallantly ambushed BH terrorists just yesterday at a cattle market in Borno so one wonders if the OP has been sleeping in a buka.

Have faith.
It is the substance of things unseen.

For a country to be doomed, it mean that almost all its inhabitants are doomed.

I am not doomed.
I was once on an erring/destructive path, I'm in a better place nowsmiley

I know a few Nigerians who have decided to start doing things rightly too.

To say our country is doomed means you have lost faith in everyone of us.
We the citizens are the hope of this country.

APC and Buhari will do little or nothing, except the change we desire begins with us.
alright my sister, i will withdraw that statement now

Concerning these soldiers:

It is irresponsible for our government to be sooo concerned about its image than that of the plight of citizens whom it swore to protect.

It is condemnable.

It is my hope that they get their act together and do the needed.

We cannot become what we need by remaining what we are.
pls do us one favour, - we want to hear from d horses mouth, we simply want to hear from shekau as he is to release video every month telling us how many area he has capture, til then hold ur peace

I've been following your post for sometime now, can I ask how that change will come about?

It will begin with you.
That is for sure.

It will come when a majority of us decide to put our political interests (also known as Buharists and Jonathanians) and say...
"Okay, we cannot continue to politicise every issue. Some people's villages are being burnt, some cannot afford basic amenities, others are being oppressed. What is the use of having access to superior amenities if we can not reach out or be instrumental in ensuring that the government reaches out to those who need these facilities?"

Change will come when we present a more united front. It will come when you as a Northerner stop seeing the easterner as an abomination and vice versa. It will come when we lay aside our differences and fight for a common good.

Change will come when we stop insulting Mr President and every public office holder.
If we are aggrieved over an issue, we can assertively speak without the attendant negativity.

Change will come when you take an inward look at yourself and ask "What am I doing to better the lot of this Nation?"
What part am I playing?
What can I start doing rightly today?
What do I really want for my country Nigeria?

Dear Brothersmiley
I could go on and on, but this should suffice.
Have a nice day aheadsmiley

You sound like an idealist cum pacifist with what you wrote. Please, let reality be your guide and see the many negativity that surrounds us, and this negativity didn't just start today, nope! It started from 1960.

Might I tell you that the great Gani Fawehinmi speak, spoke and spark until he had throat cancer and died. This nigeria for you, our leaders don't listen, even when they do its only for a short period of time as they will forget what they've heard.

Whatever one does to better this nation is nothing compared to what does who are in power can do, as they hold all the keys to the doors. And they will never do it, because doing it will mean less funds for them.

Humans are created beings who have a power to create. Yes, I am unashamedly a pacifist. I believe that I have the power to create my own reality. Yes, I am a idealistic realist also. If we weren't all looking forward to the ideal in various areas of our lives, our existence would be useless. I believe in the power of love and love motivated actions to transform our world.

You might think Fawehinmi had no effect, but he did sow seeds. My only prayer is that for every action he took, his soul should be at peace.

That is a defeatist mentality. Evil will not always continue to triumph over good. I guess that for some of us, It is much easier to live and remain in the status quo than to dare to dream of a better life, as long as the activities of government does not impact us excessively negativatively; we can manage.

Nigerian Citizens must come to a point where they realize in Unison that this space of the world belongs to them and not some elite few.
I am not concerned about the activities of the government as I am about raising a people with an awareness of the power they can wield in unity for the common good.

That is my mission for Nigeria.
What's yours?

You are what you are, I can't change that, not that I wanted to anyway.

Love you say? I'll want you to show me just how love has transformed this world?

And yes Gani owed seeds, but since he died have any of the seeds he sowed germinate?

This is the world where evil triumph over good as many a times as possible, the same way good triumph over evil. If we were to count, I'll say evil is leading 10-4.

You should know dreams aren't real. So, those who dream are living in a false reality. That's why many nigerians are now living the nigerian dream, that is imbibing the concepts of individualism and rugged individualism.

Nigerian Citizens must come to a point where they realize in Unison that this space of the world belongs to them and not some elite few.

You seem to believe in this utopia that "nigerians must raise to the occasion". I tell you, many nigerians, particularly the uneducated, educated and illiterates are in the pockets of the elites to the point that their loyalty, is to them, not the country. How can you tell such a man to renege on someone who feed him and saved him from the clutches of poverty to bite the hands that feed him?

While you raise those people... Please make sure they share the same goals and ideals with you, and please make sure they aren't back stabbers and back bitters, because your goals and objectives might be frustrated by them, especially when they belong to the "follow follow" mentality set of people.

And while you think you might not be concerned about government activities, I'll enjoin to be, because government activities affect you and I, be it directly or indirectly, whether you want to believe it or not.

Lastly, my mission for Nigeria, if given the chance or opportunity, is to give all our political elites "The Jerry Rawlings Treatment". Cause as long as they are very much active in Nigeria's day to day activities, be it directly or indirectly, this country will never attain uhuru.

That lady? Too dirty in thought and negativity to ever be a mother. Playing stupid politics with national security and tomorrow, she wil be one of those to be at the fore front asking for leadership role for women of her ilk who have lost the very essence of womanhood and transmogrified her breast milk of human kindness.
