Dasuki was given bail by a court, but he was rearrested immediately he met the bail conditions. Where's Dasuki today?
Nnamdi Kanu was given bail by a court, but was immediately re-arrested after he met the bail conditions. FG only obeyed the recent court ordering Kanu to be remanded in prison custody.
.
El Zakyzak, where is that man self? is he alive or dead? I once read somewhere that he was flown to France, is he back to the country?
.
Tompolo, will only be acting the fool if he willingly gives himself up to EFCC.

They were released after they fulfilled their bail conditions and were re-arrested on different charges. So no court order was disobeyed....

Human right lawyers will not call Tompolo to order now abi, when he is arrested they will start making noise on papers about human right, well the advertorial is also an evidence to nail Tompolo later.

The thing is that if someone steals my TV and is charged to court and is released on bail and I find out that he stole my money too and I have him re-arrested does that mean I've disobeyed court orders.... To me Dasuki and Kanu are just answering for all their crimes that's all..and no disobedience of court irdee

The level of ignorance in this country is at an unprecedented high, even amongst literate citizens. My comment is on the rate at which everybody accuses the president in disobeying court order. That is absolutely incorrect.

First, the President does not prosecute crime offenders, that is left for institutions legally instituted to prosecute criminals such as the Police, DSS, Attorney General's Office, EFCC etc.

Second, every suspect is entitled to bail hearing and it is at the discretion of the judge to grant or not grant bail, especially when the prosecuting officer/lawyer cannot provide sufficient evidence why the accused should not be granted bail.

Third, in view of the flight risk associated with many of these suspects, these prosecuting officers can decide to remove some charges from the charge sheet of the accused, this is entirely at their discretion, and proceed with the remaining charges. Where there is the possibility that the accused could be granted bail, he would be re-arrested on the previously removed charges and rearraigned in court again. This procedure is a tactic employed by prosecutors to avoid suspects jumping bail. The prosecutors will continue this tactic till trial date commences.

Additionally, we should commend the EFCC on their resolve in fighting corruption and their ability to use the law to their advantage. In the past, we read on how EFCC operatives cooperate with suspects in order to have a mistrial.

Finally, we must learn to leave out the President on issues like this. He has already done his part, developed the framework for anti-corruption crusade, appointed new heads of anti-corruption commissions, discussed with the judiciary on the need to ensure that the war on corruption is won and seek international cooperation and assistance on retrieving proceeds from corruption and extradition of suspects hiding outside our borders. Hence, it is not the President duty or responsibility to go to court and prosecute these suspects.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission on Thursday declared a former Niger Delta militant leader, Government Ekpemupolo, alias Tompolo, wanted.
The anti-graft agency in an advertorial signed by its Head of Media and Publicity, Wilson Uwujaren, said it declared Tompolo wanted following two bench warrants issued against him by a Federal High Court in Lagos, where he has been charged with N45.9bn fraud.
In the said advertorial which carried a photograph of Tompolo, the EFCC described him as a 47-year-old, dark-complexioned man from Okerenkoko, Gbaramotu Kingdom in the Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State.
The wanted Tompolo, whose address was given as No. 1, Chief Agbanu Street, DDPA Extension, Warri, Delta State, is said to speak both Izon and English languages.
The public announcement issued by Uwujaren read in part, “The general public is hereby notified that Government Ekpemupolo (a.k.a. Tompolo), whose photograph appears above, is wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission in relation to the offence of conspiracy, illegal diversion of the sum of N34,000,000,000.00 and N11,900,000,000.00 belonging to the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency.”
Justice Ibrahim Buba of a Federal High Court in Lagos issued a bench warrant against Tompolo on January 14 after he shunned a summons dated January 12 issued on him by the judge to appear in connection with the fraud charges filed against him and nine others by the EFCC.
Justice Buba had then ordered the law enforcement agencies to produce Tompolo before him on February 8 for him to answer the charges, but rather than appear in court on January 8,
Tompolo brought an application seeking to quash the bench warrant and arrest order.
The judge, who dismissed the application for lacking in merit, renewed the arrest warrant and directed all law enforcement agencies to produce Tompolo before him on February 19.
Tompolo’s lawyer, Mr. Tayo Oyetibo (SAN), after failing to get the bench warrant vacated, turned down the responsibility of undertaking to produce his client in court.
Oyetibo said it was the responsibility of the prosecution to produce the suspect in court.
The EFCC filed 40 counts against Tompolo and nine others, including the immediate-past Director-General of NIMSA, Patrick Akpobolokemi.
The other suspects in the charge are Kime Engozu, Rex Elem, Gregory Mbonu and Capt. Warredi Enisuoh.
The suspects were charged along with four companies, namely: Global West Vessel Specialist Limited, Odimiri Electrical Limited, Boloboere Property and Estate Limited and Destre Consult Limited.
The suspects were accused of diverting and converting to their personal use a sum of N34bn and N11.9bn belonging to NIMASA.
The offence, according to EFCC, is contrary to Section 18 (a) of the Money Laundering (Prohibition) (Amendment) Act, 2012 and were liable to punishment under Section 15 (3) of the same Act.

The way people comment on this platform, is an attestation to a verified opinion that there's indeed a problem in this country. Must people actually talk without applying their senses or just reason like right thinking human beings without attacking the person of the President or anything that identifies with him, especially when it has to do with issues of those who have plundered and balkanized this country to a state of economic serfdom? The way most people comment here shows that contemporary education in this country is nothing but mere paper certification when people have blatantly refused to develop the grey matter. Perhaps someone like this Know will start knowing by 2020.

Dear wise and learned friend, why not start talking/commenting the right way u expect pple to do instead of talking/commenting exactly like the pple you are bitterly criticising,

The government has no direction. No budget, no plan, chasing whom to arrest and occupy the day. Tompolo was just a contractor who was called to render service. he was not a minister or civil servant. Please allow the peace to reign

Am sure this is one of most dangerious fights coming. My small confusion is that the militants have given out their fire arms because of amnesty but am still trustung them to put a very serious fight.
All those fabricated figures are just there to trap tompolo. He should get himself and his fighter very ready to fight to finish.
If the worse comes up, they should face the crude pipe lines and damage all of them, afterall, if oil were in the north, no other part of the country will ever enjoy it but now that the north, the west are in majority, they feel they can continue to oppress the south south.

That is exactly my advice too. Tompolo should fight to finish. They should get themselves to fight to dead. They should not surrender.
Buhari has never, time and day wanted any agitation when he wants to enrich himself and the north with crude oil from the south south because he feels he has what it will take to deal with the people of the south. He is used to underminding those people.

It is very unfortunate the way some Nigerian think;they are often more emotional than rational, they support an accused criminal because he is from their Tribes or because they don't like the incumbent Government.
It is worrisome the alacrity with which most commentators from a section of the Country rush to defend anyone accuse of corruption since May 29,2015.
Re: EFCC Declares Tompolo Wanted by Unibenstudents: 2:31pm On Feb 13, 2016
A complaint was lodged against the Dean of the Faculty of Law of the University of Benin that he engages in sale of law school slots for the University of Benin to other schools. This is indeed a shameful act that the mere reportage of such wells up tears of infamous embarrassment in the hearts of these writers. He uses the excuse of deviant behavior to reduce the number of legitimate UNIBEN students qualified to go to law school. The dean is a principal member of the University Senate, this has prevented many lecturers who are aware of this insalubrious and diabolical act of turpitude from protesting and remonstrating, due to fear of either spiritual, physical or financial reprisal.
