Please how complicated and guaranteed is this renewal process for study visas within Australia?

nrdgeek:

Sorry, I guess I got carried away since I just completed my visa renewal from within Australia. Yes, you're quite right, its paper applications through Teleperformance. Then again, I think you should have an immiaccount because I had one opened for me by my agent, then.

It's not complicated at all, you just go through the process online, so long as you meet the requirement for continued stay - in my case, I enrolled for another programme of study.

You can go to a lawyer to help you with the certification stuff or go to the high court at Ikeja. The yellow card is easy to get at the ministry of health office at the airport Ikeja, you just need to take your passport along with you, you can take a photocopy along with you plus 1,000 naira. As for the medical school, I have not done mine, but I think you can book for it prior to the application if you are sure of your documentation. The gurus in the house can contribute

My broda I didn't have the time to deal with Nigeria and their forex restrictions, I just begged my cousin in US to wire the funds to the school on my behalf while I send the naira equivalent to his Nigerian account here, thank God he had a building project goin on in Nigeria so it was easy for him to agree, so I suggest u find someone reliable who can transfer the funds to the school for u so u pay in the equivalent here in naija

I don't think u can email documents to them, all requested documents are to be submitted at teleperformance in hard copy, it'd about 5k to resubmit an omitted document, do that quickly before ur time elapses

Hello people,

Well done to everyone who have kept this thread alive and furnished us with relevant information. smiley

I wish to apply for the PR 189 route. I have written IELTS general twice now and didn't get my desired scores. In my first attempt I had R8.5 L7.5 W7.5 S7.5 and my second attempt R8 L7 W7 S6.5. It's quite painful because I need an 8 across all bands in order to ace 20 points under language ability cry.

I am 29 yrs old with a B-Eng in Mechanical Engineering and just 2 yrs work experience. I have decided to give PTE exam a try hoping I make 80 across all bands. Please I need help on all possible materials soft and hard copies I can lay my hands on so I can ace this exam once and for all. Where in PH is the best place I can sit for it and how much does it cost presently?

To my fellow Engineers who have gone about their assessment successfully with Engineers Australia, pls show a brother how to go about this the right way. I have downloaded the hand book and studied it to the best of my knowledge but I still find the whole process a bit challenging with my little work experience.

I need your guidance and professional advice. No tip is too small. Thanks in anticipation for your kind responses.

If you meet the requirements, you can apply. Initial denial shouldn't affect your application except it was refused for national security reasons.

Happy Sunday house!

Pls is it compulsory to submit any English proficiency test scores, like IELTS in 573 visa application? Or can one simply rely on other form of testing which satisfies the school you got admission?

Nope, not compulsory. I did mine without any English test and I'm in Australia now. The only thing is some locals find my accent funny! grin grin
