We spat on Awo when he contested against shagari and that was the best decision the East ever made till date. The East never forgets.

The igbos gave nnamdi azikiwe his various electoral victories.
The igbos n ss supported shagari with ekwueme as his vice n defeated Awolowo , his Major contender cos azikiwe was regarded as a traitor by the igbos cos he did not do enough during the biafran war.
The igbos n ss supported abiola .
The igbos supported obj ,while the yorubas supported falae .
The igbos n ss supported gej n he won .
The last elections was actually the first time the igbos wud fail.

Had Tofa ...Northern rival to Abiola won SE and SS, something IBB was hoping, he would have ruled this country. IBB would have handed over to him but not Abiola.
