Its only greedy, gullible and unintelligent ppl dat get scammed
No so my dear. Suppose you get scammed through online shopping? You pay for goods and goods don't arrive, because there were no goods in the first place. Chai!

I have never been scammed and will never be scammed. This is something I really derive joy from. My secret? - Self contentment!!!
Scamming has got nothing to do with greed. Suppose you wanted to buy goods from online shopping site. You pay on line and goods do not come. You have been scammed but that has nothing to do with self contentment. You are just lucky or may be not so well to do.

Sealeddeal:
Scammers on loose.
But how can these scammers be traced?
A friend of mine was scammed last week. He has a foreign friend who sent him IPhone and few dollars. The parcel arrived and he received a message from USPS to contact one Mr Tony to clear his goods. he contacted Mr Tony who asked for 5500naira to clear goods. By the time the whole clearing thing was finished, the guy has spent about 10500naira and till date,he has not received the parcel. The Mr Tony even provided a valid bank account details into which he paid in the money.
You can't send money through courier service. It's not done. So your friend ought to have known from scratch that something was fishy

When dealing with registered entities, never pay money into a private account

Yes, but I didn't have anything to eat there, I declined his offer. ( I wrote it there). I just went in to have a conversation with a man who i thought was interesting. What is greedy in that?
what you did is wrong dear!, jst take correction in case of next time.
Re: Have You Ever Been Scammed Before??? Share Your Experience. by Nobody: 11:09pm On Feb 15, 2016
Greed to me is when you want to buy let's say "a mattress" online. Instead of you going on vitafoam.com, mouka.com, you now purchased from one faceless website at probably a cheaper price, then as you said your goods didn't come. Man, that's greed. Opposite of self contentment. The latter will make you be contented with the price an accredited outlet is offering you. You've been scammed at SLOT before? Or scammed at Kia Motors? But if you like go on eBay or OLX or Cheki and scream you've been scammed. OYO lo wa...

=> In warri a lady was spammed scammed
she went to collect #600k from their head branch office to pay workers salaries, when she got there she recongised a man within the premises and after collecting the money she put the money given to her in an envelope into her bag when she was outside, she was almost to the branch office when the young man approach and told her to bring the money given to her that the boss said he does not know her, even the guy dail his phone and girl spoke with a fake guy claiming to be the boss saying that she should give the money to the man and come back to the office to met him, the man collected the money and went, the lady quickly call the his boss in the branch office, and the boss quickly called the head office boss, the head office boss said the lady has collected the money that she must be on her journey now, when the branch boss called back that was when the lady knew she WAS SPAMMED SCAMMED she could not return to office she was crying and cursing the man.

=> I was almost spammed scammed twice but spammers scammers did not succed i was at my mums shop one evening my mum took all the 1k n 5h notes out, she has not gone when a guy came to our shop with 2h to buy stuff of 1h and ask me if i had change i said yes, i gave him 1h as change he said it was 1k e gave me wit agruement my mum n 3 men came in and my mum said she herself has took all the 1k n 5h from the shop, the guy said i have hid the money, before the guy no e chop slap from one of the man them beat am, later one neighbouring shop said that was how he lied that e gave her 5h where she must have given him more than wat he brought all free. I try find the guy around the area to muck him i heard he has moved. I was saved from been spam in warri.

=> Another similar story was from my friend he said a guy came to buy ear pic piece from their shop meanwhile before that time his boss has counted all the money cus they wer abt to close n put d money at a particular conner in the drawer, the guy said he has give them the money his boss said no nothing was with them after little agruement the guy left and that was how my friend was saved from been spammed scammed at ile-ife.
FIXED. Thank me later angry

Two times I can remember.

1st time - This happened in 95/96. I was on my way to my sixth form college but decided to go see my friend in the hood. He was an up and coming guy man and I wanted to see if he had any new 090 fire lines. I alighted from the bus and as I walked towards his house, I saw 2 chaps playing table tennis.

As I walked past the players, one of them called out to me; egbon shey ele ba wa count scores (can you help keep scores). I was in no hurry and enjoyed watching table tennis so I obliged.

The game carried on and one of them was so terrible it was embarrasing. Game ended something like park-2. The really rubbish player brought out a wad of cash and gave it to the chap who won. The winner was the same one that called out to me.

I made to leave but the winner called out to me and walked alongside with me. He told me (in yoruba) that the other chap was an ibo boy who had stolen thousands from his dad and was gambling it all away. He advised that I bet on a game with him and I was sure to double my money.

Even though I was a below average player, having seen how rubbish the ibo boy was, I didnt hesitate. We walked back to the tennis board. The yoruba boy suggested I give the ibo boy 15 ahead to entice him. I agreed cause the ibo boy was really rubbish. I laid allthe money I had on me. I think it was N50 but cant be sure. What I can remember was that it was just enough to take me to school and back.

I started the game with the 1st of my 5 serves. The previously rubbish ibo boy returnes it with a back handed smash, 0-16 shocked. I was shook but I thought to myself, ah a fluke return. 2nd service, same thing, 3rd service, fore hand smash from the ibo boy, 0-18.

cry My eyes turned red as It started to dawn on me that I had been scammed. I dropped my bat, turned to my fellow yoruba boy who I believed to be my ally and said I wasnt playing again. He shook his head and with respect he replied 'ah, egbon eti bet' (You cant go back on a bet after the game has started)

I picked up my bat and tried to salvage the situation with 2 iká services but the ibo boy was so good he won the points, 0-20 cantab! The boy then finished me off with 2 robó agbeti services.

I left the table in shame and walked to my friends house a short distance away. I knocked on the gate for minutes but there was no response. My day just became worse. I had no money and there was no way I could make it to school. Tears started to roll down my eyes as I began my 4km walk back home.
. Jst couldn't stop laughing.. cheesy

It shld b 8 yes ago. I wanted to buy phone @ computer village & I have 13k with me. As I was checking from one phone seller to another I hear one bro for my back saying "bros yeh, u wan buy phone?Come buy this music express phone na, very cheap & affordable with perfect functionality" Na so I carry my leg go meet d guy o.
I checked through d phone & it was working fine, I dialed some numbers & spoke with two to three people & it was awesome. I stylishly asked d guy what d fault of d phone is & he said no issues at all & that he needs money to buy another phone.
I priced d phone & he said 8k, I was like sho but as I sharp guy( I think I was ) I told him I can only pay 6.5k & at last he agreed. I remembered I have been scammed one time like that at oshodi where I bought a phone for 3.5k only for d guy to hand over a scrap to me & also called some guys to give me sweet slap to say d least so remembering that scenerio, I acted smartly this time(I think say I wise). I told d guy that I will hand over d cash to him after he hands over d phone to me on d bike & d bike will take off to avoid a recurrence of what I experienced at oshodi. He agreed & we called a random bike man.I climbed d bike, he gave me the phone & I gave him d money & zoom I instructed d bike man. After some distance, I looked back & I saw d guy smiling so I smiled back & also waved him with my 32 teeths widely opened.Immediately I got to d bus stop at Ikeja under bridge, I entered sango bus direct & I was happy I now have a gd phone for just 6.5k. All this while I did not check d phone I was holding not until I got to iyana ipaja where I feel it is safe to check d phone.
I press d end call button but no light showed up so I was thinking it must have been switched off by d guy. So as I pressed switched on button, I noticed one white object popping out & I was like what is this? I smelled it cos it stained my hand & I found out that it is fufu. I opened d phone & saw how fufu was packaged as phone for me. The man for my side just dey look me dey laugh. I no fit talk self, I just jejely put am for my pocket dey go house. Na so them take sell fufu for me for 6.5k grin grin

I was scammed in the most horrible way because my heart was involved. This started early last year. I was in my shop at Balogun one Friday afternoon when a young man and his wife came into my shop to buy clothes. Actually the wife was shopping on the man. After they finished, the man said he has a brother that he will like me to meet and from there we can start a relationship if we like each other. At first i was skeptical but i gave him my number to give to his brother. The brother started calling me saying that he is based in Abj and that he is a widower with a son. infact, this guy bombarded me with calls for good six months. We never got to meet all this while. I usually speak with the son, his mother because he said they all live with him in his mansion in Abj. The son is a boy of 7years and he really sounded like a good son. I was already loving father and son. When he first invited me to come, i declined because i felt if he loved me, he should be the first to come and see me. He was often claiming busy with a project on-going in Abj. On Monday of a particular week, he told me he was traveling to the Singapore for an urgent meeting and that on his way back from his trip he would come to Lagos straight so we can finally get to see.

He traveled and i was speaking to his mother and son as they kept calling me and i was used to them. On Friday morning around 7am, i received a call from the son saying that his grandmother just slumped and that he has been trying to get her up since he's alone with her in the house but he can't. I was panicking, i couldn't reach "my guy" so i told him to go out and call neighbours to help him. i later got a call around 9am that they are in the hospital but the doctors want some money before they can start treatment. they said they needed 100k. They sent me account details, i quickly wired 50K and i went to the park to enter a bus heading to Abj in the hope to see the "poor woman". I kept communicating with the young boy and got the name of the hospital and ward. I got to Abj around 10pm, a town where i knew nobody and called and called. The number was switched off. My dear up till now. Both money, "my guy", "son", "mother", "friend" , no one is reachable. I thank God for everything atleast, i was not used for rituals. grin

The first case was a friend of mine saying he has auction dealership license in the US, he came to Nigeria and we eat together and I know his parents, so once he got back to the US, i wired him cash to help me buy 2 cars , high end cars, and till today, he doesnt pick my calls. Reported to the parents and they said the guy admitted taking my cash but that he spent it. Now he is a junky.

Second one is where I can say its my greed. I was invited to invest some millions in powder business, actually illegal, and that if I put in a certain millions in naira, I will make a million dollars. They take me to a meeting in a beautiful 4 star hotel owned by the brother of my friend and that is all they do for a living, making billions. After I put in the millions, they told me consignment was caught my NDLEA on arrival. Me wey don dey plan how to invest 5 billion naira of my proceeds in factories that time. There was nothing i could do. I couldnt go to police cos it was illegal venture.

I was heart broken after these scams, and i actually shed tears and ask...."God give me so much money that I can tell these my so called friends, that I dash them the cash they dupe me. Within a year, I became a man that could give out 15m on charity without feeling sad.

Lesson: "Any money you can not throwaway, do not give to friends on business and any business you can not control at least 99%, that has no agreement, do not even listen to it."
when u say powder, do u mean ....poWder or po我der?
btw, u are doing good sir, i hope 2 be as generous as u are when d money starts flowing in

I thank God for everything atleast, i was not used for rituals. grin
