The Roman Catholic Church declared
it to be canonical in 1546 during the fourth
session of the Council of Trent.

Sirach is accepted as part of the Christian
biblical canons by Catholics , Eastern
Orthodox , and most of Oriental Orthodox.

This is a mark set by stanbic IBTC that is not only made people like celebrities should be use as an ambassador like Glo and MTN does..kudos to Etisalat they always do right thing by using both celebrity and normal people..

Jesus and Apostle Paul quoted extensively from the 39 books of the old testament. Was Sirach ever quoted? Those 2 authorities obviously did not. recognise the book. Is there anywhere in the 27 new testament books that Sirach was quoted? It will be a powerful endorsement. The apocryphal books have questions hanging over them in terms of spiritual endorsement

I get what you are saying but Wisdom comes from the Divine,like I said Sirach was a contemporary with King Solomon,in other words they grew up together,he was a very wise man along with many other Elders in Israel,if all the wisdom of the men of Israel were canonized, it becomes an overkill for the human mind,I can teach you so many things I gained from Wisdom and Experiences,the fact that it's not canonized doesn't mean it wasnt inspired by the Holy Spirit,the Apostles said everything Yahshua did and wrote couldn't be contained in the Book,mind you it's called the word of Yah not Bible,question is what is the Word of Yah, what is the name called and I promise to send you $100 dollars if you know it, in summary not everything spoken by the men of Yah could be canonized and ther's nothing called HeyZeus(Jesus) letter j doesn't exist in Hebrew or Aramaic,so how could they have called Him jesus, a greek-latin name if His parents were Hebrew
