It seems that there is no end in sight for the impunity in kogi as the speaker of the house of assembly Rt Hon Jimoh Lawal has been removed by 5 out of 25 members of the state assembly. He has been replaced by Hon Abubakar Imam of lokoja 1 constituency. This latest move was instigated by Governor Yahaya Bello in a move to have the minority party APC produce a speaker. By giving the speakership to kogi West district - he has effectively marginalised the okuns whom he accuses of supporting James faleke the running mate to late Abubakar Audu. |
