Filani Mosun is from ikole ekiti, I once read an interview by her where she said it

They are from Ekiti parents but grew up away from home.

Can you see how many of the present South West APC governors served in Lagos State before contesting at their various States? That's how these guys are too.

80% of them grew up majorly in Lagos, Ogun and Oyo state, even Fayose, Femi Falana, Afe Bablola.

My parents are from Otun Ekiti (in Ekiti State) but I
was brought up in Abeokuta, Ogun State. I attended
St. Peters College, Olomore and obtained an
Ordinary National Diploma in business
administration at the Moshood Abiola Polytechnic,
Abeokuta.
