Wow,apparently this guy has never been in war front.He never seen it all.I just hope one day,he will be deployed to the very heart of insurgency operation in nig,ie Maiduguri or Yobe.There,he will clearly differentiate between pure hate and hurt.Boko Haram insurgent assault Soldiers in a barbaric manner either by beheading or being subjected to an unimaginable pain and suffering.He should be still lucky he is Lagos soldiering like woman while the real men are in the forefront of counter insurgency.This man is not a veteran at all.Attacking any civilian in peaceful state like Lagos should be treated or melt with great disciplinary action by constituted authority.

If all these animals on fatigues get dispatched to Sambisa then Boko Haram would become non-existent and no one would remain to harrass innocent honest-living civilians. The government should consider this. Most of these soldiers roaming the street are very frustrated individuals looking for who to take out their aggression on.

It is clear that high handedness is endemic in our armed forces. These people are beasts in uniforms and have no business whatsoever living amongst human populations. What sort of nonsense is this?? Why the people no gather the ediot give am beating of him life??

The system needs to look at how it reintegrates military personel who have served their nation, back into society. The mentally required to be exhibited in places of conflict are not necessarily welcome in aa general cilvilian society.

As a soldier, the actions he would have carried out, may have pshycological scared him, hence his quote without proper reason

The soldier is wrong with his actions, but this is not the first case of this occurring. It is common place to see military personnel flaunting excessively in the midst of civilians, maltreating civilians with a military mindset.

A man who has seen his comrade killed, and has equally killed, would not reason as the common civilian, hence means should be sought to help cater for our military personnel (Psychologically) and integrate them properly into civil society.

Gone are the days when soldiers were respected without even asking for it. Now they actually beat you to earn respect.

All in all, they still earn their respect directly or indirectly...when any soldier passes by your side just try and hiss and face the consequence.

I support the soldier. Most of these commercial drivers need serious beating. If I were a soldier I would have dealt with many of them uncountable. They are so reckless that they do whatever they like without blinking.
You can imagine he almost hit the soldier and did not know.
One scratched my car the other day at oshodi. They enter the road at will, stop anywhere at will. They literally do not know the road is shared.
I wish the soldier beat more of them. They need sense beaten into them.

my thoughts exactly. On a neutral level one on one with a soldier with fists as weapon I shall take many of them. I once told one blatantly at a filling station that he had no backup and stands no chance against me so he should just respect himself and he backed down. Afterall many of us are soldiers in our own right. Forget d uniform! They only have mouth when they weild a gun or they are in numbers against just you. Though some are really brave, these ones that love to batter civilians are eternal cowards!
