It is no longer news that a loosened broom is useless for sweeping. We cannot allow regionalist or statist to create a rift between us.
I may not be an Igbo of pure stock as others but am Igbo all the same. We have been silently pursuing our individual self-centered goals instead of pursuing the goals that will enthrone our collective interest.

Igbo Kwenu ..........

Only if Chino, Abagworo and RoyalD should keep their madness(es) to themselves and stop dragging our respective states into it this type of thread isn't necessary.

Not that we aint united but we have some bunch of lunatics in our midst who are always like to throw muds with reckless abandon so that others will get dirty like them

. Must you comment? you cannot even see unity because you don't actually know what unity entails. Many people like you think that unity is the absence of disagreement not knowing that true unity makes you to disagree in order to agree.

Op, What is Ikwerre doing on your list, is Ikwerre Igbo?? Why do some people unnecessarily court controversy. What is the legal implication of your supposition?

Nairalanders should always come across as being educated, enlightened and informed. Saying Ikwerre is Igbo or not should be argued based on the legal basis and not by deep emotional feelings. The constitution of Nigeria is/remains a guide for those people who do not understand the positions of the Ikwerre and the Igbo tribes of Nigeria. tnx

@HopeAtHand
you always sweat on this Igbo- Ikwerre issue.
The names of Tribes in Nigeria have long been established and There Is NOTHING like ikwerre tribe.
The "Ikwerre is Igbo" will be around even in the next 100yrs, so ur identity crisis will passed down to ur children.
Nigerians will continue to see and address Ikwerres as Igbos. No amount of concotated and false benin origin fallacy can change that.
Its una problem sha.
- Let me focus on our Anioma matters.

He sweats on it for a reason. He's not ikwerre. Even if the OP didn't include Ikwerre, he would have still brought ikwerre into the matter just like he did in all Igbo unity thread and even anioma and SE Igbo unity threads
He's an agent of divide and rule

Even ikwerres do not believe he's is ikwerre

This is a statement from an ikwerre to the "hopeathand" claim of being ikwerre

Well funny enough I no longer take you serious because I'm convinced to the highest degree of certainty that you've never been to Rivers state talk less of being a native. Your motive is obvious, you just want to have fun arguing on NL. On a normal circumstance, I won't argue with your type, just that I get mentions from users to call your bluff which I gladly do. If you know me well, you'll know that I make my arguments intelligently. I've seen a good number of Ikwerre men who would argue that they aren't Igbo, most prominent of them was China Acheru (before his fame), who claimed that he doesn't even understand a single word in Igbo. An Orlu man who was there with us when we were arguing insulted China in his dialect, and to our surprise China took offence. We laughed and reminded him of his 'I don't understand Igbo' stance, and he tried to save face by saying that he understood the language by the mood of the Orlu man. On Nairaland I've argued intelligently with the likes of Norababie, blackest and so many and they gave up when I presented facts. Waliezi is another true Ikwerre man I know online and offline and though he isn't disposed to this kind of argument, he will surely and perfectly sense your false ostentation from a distance.

Well you are indirectly saying I'm not qualify for this kind of argument, then I'm sure you know better in politics than former Rivers governor, Amaechi, who made a campaign speech at Owerri, telling people that he is Igbo and challenging Jonathan to speak Igbo like he does. I'm very sure that you're the progenitor of the Ogoni people who gave Ndoki people land. You said Oyigbo belongs to Eleme people, but you were so dull that you couldn't figure out through your google map, which you've been using to allocate lands, that Eleme and Oyigbo towns to not border each other, Iriebe an Evo town comes in between them, you should have done better by telling us that Iriebe and Elelenwo also belongs to Ogoni people and then we can know start arguing. Oh, I forgot that I don't belong to the political class. Maybe in politics, ethnicities skip 10km from their ancestral home, skip towns to go and own land somewhere else. Oh lest I forget, what happened to 'Etcheland belongs to the Ikwerres, and Etche people speak a form of Ikwerre'. I was almost falling for it, why did you stop insisting on it?

Try again boy.

Igbos are determined to attach themselves shamelessly to people who do not want their association. Its a shame.

It is very sad the lengths Igbos go to circulate falsehood but as far NL is concerned, im up for it
.Im very determined to always thwart the lies Igbos feed themselves by claiming Ikwerre as part of them.

Nigeria knows Ikwerre is separate from Igbo as the constitution affirms that. Truth is, Igbos are a lawless bunch and arent known to appreciate legality. But they must learn by all means.

I was about to comment until I saw the bold. Idk y it's becoming common for anioma accepting this claim of not being "pure Igbo". Even my cousin is starting to say this BS. Don't allow Nobody to bully you into accepting false claims. Dude you are pure Igbo. Hell we're even more pure Igbo than SE. Check your history very well and read theirs, you'll realize we are just as pure as them.

Anyway, I'm proud Asaba Igbo and nothing can remove that from me

You claim you're ikwerre residing in River state yet EZEPROMOE with the "Igbo mother" has to teach YOU the claim to be full ikwerre ikwerre history REPEATEDLY, River state politics, as well as River states LGA areas. Weren't you the fool he had to teach how far Eleme distance is from Oyigbo?

Anybody that reads y'all conversation can see You AREN'T Ikwerre. Considering he trumps you in every conversation. Hell even teach you distance of LGA of a state you claim you reside in.

On the contrary, i schooled him on that thread. The Onitsha spare parts dealer who claims he is from Rivers didnt know Eleme has common boundary with Oyilga. I just quietly watched as he made a big fool of himself.

I have always advised him to concern himself with buying and selling and leave politics for politicians and social scientists.

Show us what page you did the so called "schooling". Lying as if the thread does not exist.

In fact he even asked you to narrate to us all how two towns [eleme and oyigbo] with one town in between both of them [Iriebe] have common boundary.
