It's Chancellor not VC. The former is ceremonial while the latter is active

I wonder who WD give admissions to people who can't read,understand and realise a V.C and a Chancellor are two different entities.Bunch of ethnic bigots.Some folks are a disgrace to the south eastern region of this great country.

Nice move, i will also want buhari to change all the vc of the south east university for a yoruba man to be in charge so that all these on the issue of selling result and bribery and corruption of our vc to stop, nice move for buhari.

It's Chancellor, not Vice Chancellor. It's just a ceremonial position given often to traditional rulers from other regions of the country depending on the school in question.
Igwe Achebe is the Chancellor of ABU or so.
The VC is still the one who runs the school.

You go over there and realise how almost hard it is to gain admision as a south easterner. What would a traditional ruler of south western part of the country be doing in South East as a VC of a prestigious institution...we shouldn't be marginalised even on our soil. I don't know, but how many of them VC's are from south east serving in the north or west?

You be confirmed OLODO. Can't u differentiate between a Chancellor and a VC.

UNN is a federal university, so even an Hausa Professor can be the Vice-chancellor once he's got his credentials.

If you don't understand something, you should have asked for clarifications instead of displaying your ignorance to the whole world... A Chancellor is not the same as a Vice Chancellor. The Chancellor is a non-resident CEREMONIAL HEAD of an institution, he only visits once in a while. In Nigeria's federal universities, the Chancellor is usually a Royal Father from another geo-political zone.
