The University had never closed for a day despite the insurgency? That's not true. In 2010, around June thereabouts, we were asked to vacate the school premises indefinitely because of threats from boko haram. I am wondering what the vc meant by that statement.

my stay in Unimaid was also a hit back to back, from AM Express hostel in 303 driving through gate one (for the days I have 200bucks to give the security guys at the gate and hear them halla 'sai oga' as its supposed to be a 'staff only' gate) to mounting high speed bumbs in front of Abuja, love garden, cage/front of nuga hall to stopping at the front of Aisha, Murtalla or Mongonu to lift some girls to driving through back of C block to commercial area/ security office (short cut) to complex. before boko hram ti take over some part of Borno and not UNIMAID

It's also were I finished from...I missed my school its one one the best....you might wonder how the school stood Nd kept on waxing stronger...its God Nd the prayers of students of unimaid,even when the heat was very hot you will still see student going to there places of worship...I don't just Love unimaid I also thank God for keeping its students... year after year graduate keep emerging from this same school despite the insurgency.Faith kept them going...am so proud to be a maidianite....come to unimaid Nd be made...stop giving excuses Nd most of all learn to face your fears.
