From another point, I think the senior players let city down not the youngsters. The back up keeper is not good enough for me. Poor performance really poor performance from the senior defenders, don't think they are good either as back-ups.


Also, I don't think Kiev game is a very difficult one that someone like Sterling can't come on. Poors decisions from Pellegrini, though you might want to see reasons from the pile of fixtures (3-4 days interval) and injuries in those games. With his drab and disgusting style of play, Van gaal has about 10 or so first team out injured and most are long term injuries.

It'd be better for them to lose at this level and pocket their 500k for reaching the 5th round than gambling and then lose the UCL and C1C.
