Good news na. All I can see is that importation has fallen to 50%. Perhaps thats the reason for the appreciation of the naira now! God bless PMB Long live Nigeria! 2 Likes |

caleb404: That is exactly what I and my business partner have been saying. Just as in the 80's you'll start to see multinationals pulling out of Nigeria. The next will be the Airlines, their inability to remit back funds to their home countries and reduced traffic is really hitting their business. I would also not be surprised to see big retailers like Shoprite close shop(Remember what happend with Kingsway in the 80's) Unemployment up, prices up, economic activity down, and yet the president does not even have an economic adviser 6 Likes |

blackpanda:Now u even speaking for GEJ, when u not his fan. Abeg no carry headache oooo... lemme tell u, GEJ will still av the final stay if SAS will be chairman or not. Quote me anywhere. He is still very much in charge. "Empty drums makes the loudest noise" he doesn't need to come to TV to prove his relevance in PDP. GEJ is more PDP than any soul in Nigeria right now. 3 Likes |

Pavarottii: Hahahaha...see this dreamer. everybody knows GEJ lacks the will or backbone to make any impact. He's not a true politician but merely a stooge. And btw, SAS is already chairman. Nothing GEJ or his cohorts can do! |

PMB should be told the truth... He is failing this country and has so far rejected help from well meaning Nigerians. This country is headed for a complete short down. 1 Like |

Pavarottii: Rest! For GEJ to endorse that proven Boko Haram sponsor as PERMANENT Chairman of PDP at the surprise of many people shows that GEJ has not learned from the events of last election. GEJ is annoyingly flippant and stolid and does not deserve to hold a public office again. I know you may be tempted to say I'm an APC apologist. No, sir. All I care about is a formidable opposition that will compel APC to do the right thing, and with Sheriff's appointment, PDP made a big mistake |

The refineries had resumed work. But the militants that GEJ was nurturing with public funds during his tenure, blew up the pipelines supplying them crude. So please, tell us who to blame for that... Pavarottii: |

blackpanda:Whether SAS is chairman or not. PDP will rise again. If not why will APC in just 8months do a rally #Istandwithbuhari. Because they know nobody is standing with him again. Even the rally sef, no pull weight. They know he won't survive 2019 medically or economically. My dear all PDP has to do is field Lamido/Ribadu/Shekarau den a any westerner as a vice. And watch how they will win with a great margin. The chairman of PDP means a little my dear. Right now buhari has finished APC to the point of no return just in 9months. Wonder how 2years will be. The only 3 indications APC would av proven to us they were ready for governance they failed woefully. 1) the choice of NASS principal officers. Wat were they doing that Saraki and Ekweremadu decieved them. They really messed up. 2) the choice of Ministers. Me and u know that's a compensation list; not chosen based on competency and merit. 3) the 2016 budget. I rest my case. -Pavarotti 2 Likes |

At the way and manner Nigeria is going economically, what befell Buhari in 1984 may still reoccur. Yes, he may be removed from office because of obvious ineptitude 1 Like |

litaninja:I would av replied u but u just showed ur ignorance in the happenings of this country and it's history. So u think it's Tompolo that blew up that pipeline? After he has said he is not involed. That pipeline was blown by some FG cabals that never wanted our refineries to work for the past 30years, for their shady deals forimported refined crude to continue. Imagine one pipeline blew and all the refinery shut down. Please tell me another super-story. They just want to nail it on Tompolo's head. And deceive Nigerians like u that is was Tompolo that did it. They don't know some Nigerians are wiser now. Why will Tompolo blow a pipeline wen he signed amnesty agreements. My friend u don't even know the country u r citizen of. Next time don't say wat u don't know and deceive the populace. 3 Likes |

Jirate: What is happening has nothing to do with who was or is in charge....it has everything to do with the fact that thanks to the drop in oil price....Nigeria has no excess pocket money to spend at the Import Shop. We could blame GEJ for not saving much....but the fact is....if GEJ had saved like Scrooge.....we would have been in this situation next year. Especially if oil remained at lower prices. Beyond politics ......the main problem is that Nigeria is too dependent on oil. When the prices are high.....government can do millions of things. When prcies drop.....government can do nothing at all. We Nigerians have to get to work. 2 Likes |
