I'm a student of this school, and I must say a lot of abominable acts happen here, especially from the school authority, with the VC heading them

The most annoyin is the #500k for job. Every single job given is on highest bidder. Job racketeering. The disappointed Minister of agriculture who Wud ve be if Jonathan emerges ve converted all monies to his personal account. I pray Umudike gets its right anytime soon.

staff not staffs , staff has no plural,

i'm a student of that school this people are non teaching staff

Before we hastily condemn the V-C, let us confirm whether those women are (1) casual staff (sweepers/cleaner on casual appointment). (2) The conditions of their engagement (whether it is merely on the basis of Corporate Social Responsibility) (3) How long they have been engaged (considering the Labour Organistion stance on casualization) (4) When last they got pay increase and the circumstances that led to the increase (5) Whether the host communities have an agreement on deduction and remittances (if they were employed on community quota). This usually happens with the Igwes/Ezes (6) Whether they are working for the University under certain cleaning contractors. I say this because, i have bee privileged to intervene in such labour crisis involving people of host communities.
