Am very sure that almost everyone in this country have in one way or the other heard about the massive killings and destruction been carried out by Fulani herdsmen. From the northwest (zamfara) to north central (Benue, Jos, kogi) to south west (Ogun, ondo) to south east (enugu, anambra) to south south (delta).... Its no longer a new thing that no week passes by in this country without us hearing about the massacre and sacking of villages by these herdsmen. Just last week, its was Agatu in Benue state. No one knows the next state. These are the ones that we hear over the news. Cos I can vividly remember how some Fulani herdsmen killed a young man that was on top of a palm tree tapping wine in a nearby village to mine (enugu). He was shot with an arrow, and was almost beheaded after he fell down from the tree. This was never heard on the media, and am sure that there are so many cases like this that the media wouldn't carry.

Now what baffles me most is the silence of the govt ( both state and federal) and also the security out fit. How come nothing is been done abt it despite the fact that these atrocities happen almost on daily bases.

Its very bad of the govt to send military personnel to shoot and attack innocent protesters.. its very bad of the govt to send almost a "battalion" to attack a village for God knows what, but fail to look into the activities of these herdsmen.

Its funny how a sitting chief of staff will threaten unarmed civilians just because they took to the street to protest, yet he have not made any comment with regards to the issue of the herdsmen.

Even the last administration failed in this same issue.

I know that some pple will call me a wailer or iPod youth. But before you do that, kindly go to agatu village to see what happened there. Or rather, if these devils invade your village (wch we dont pray for), will you still be comfortable defending a govt that have failed in its basic duty.

Lets all stand up and hold our leaders to their duties, else this country will crumble by our own hands.

Go to the state house and see how secured they have made the place. Go to any govt house in each state and see hw secured it is... But the masses are at the mercy of every evil minded person.

Let's open our eyes plz.

Fulani herdsmen are employees of northern politicians who own cattle. What baffles me is that their cattle are very costly in the market but they can't provide funds for feeds for their cattle. The fulani herdsmen will rather move the cattle to farmlands to destroy farmers crops.

The fulanis hold the notion that they own the land of west africa. They believe that Allah handed the keys of death and Life to them directly.
Buhari is their grand patron in Africa hence the silence.
I grew up to know the murderous activities of fulanis.

I have always advocated the killing or poisoning of grass and waters in areas where fulanis are causing havoc. My village is not spared!

Nigerians are oblivious to the laws governing Fulani. Are you aware that Fulani by law are not mandated to abide by Nigerian law? Are you aware that if you called a police on a Fulani, Police will refuse to arrest him or her...if you think I'm lying, try it. That's why they bear arms openly but try am see wetin go happen to you. They don't operate under the jurisdiction of Nigeria or any west africa laws. Even our courts can't prosecute them...if I'm lying, go file a civil or criminal case against them, the judge will tell you, he/she is recusing himself or herself from the case.

The answer is simple: fear. Fear of the Fulani is the beginning of wisdom.
If your governor opens his mouth too wide against the Fulani, you will see how bad things will happen to him in series, beginning from the courts to the army to the police to the DSS, to EFCC. I say bad things, real bad things.

The story about not being able to sure Fulanis is another myth. How about shooting back at them when they shoot? They don't defy gravity my friend. The Igbo knew about Fulani marauders right from the time of Othman dan Fodio, but guess who helped the Fulanis suppress the Igbos

The Yorubas (western region) wanted to break at independence stage of Nigeria but some other region pressed against it. They thought they could dominate others but when the reality of the contrary hit them, they tried to change history.

Now you all have seen the people terrorising our country and yet rule over us even though na leg them take waka enter nigeria without visa. We can't fight these people but instead they turn we that are educated against each other and we fight tribalistically why they derive pleasure in it. Hausa na hausa and fulani na fulani.. hausa/fulani na scope of attache.

If our govt are serious in protecting its citizens, a lot can be done against these men. No one fights the govt and even. If this present admin will look into Fulani issue as the are doing to el zaky's men n iPod youths, believe me something will change. I mean, these guys are not spirit and pple know wia to find them. Its just that our country is really turning into a zoo wia there is no law.

If the govt can't do anything then let's the communities create LG vigilante and have them arm to defend each of community they fall. We fight for ourselves.

Seriously, its time state like Benue, Enugu, Anambra and Kogi set up a kind of militant to check mate Fulani herdsmen. At least, these states share common boundaries and they always suffer more attacks than others.

I was at Agatu to pay condolence to a friend that lost some relations. Till now, am still feeling the shock that I felt that day. These guys know what they are doing.

Do you have prove or evidence that the same Azikiwe that was cross carpeted against by yorubas stopped yorubas from secession, there is hardly nothing wrong in providing good evidence.

You would think Fulani violence would be a top priority to this administration as they are killing tens to hundreds of Nigerians monthly. Instead they are more focused on shiite and IPOB...both who have not taken any life.
