let me give you example. i once had an experienced of dating a teen. she was 17. it happened to the extent that our love has gone beyond and nothing could stop us again. on a faithful day, she came to my house and requested i should allow her to sleep over that she will go back home tomorrow. i pleaded with her and persuaded her to go back home and meet his parents, infact i was the one that personally took her home and made sure she did reached her people. i did that knowing fully well what the consequences will be if taken to court. i am not a daft and incase you don't know. the charges against you in court will be abduction and child abuse. oh i forgot, northerners lacks education that's why they behave like cows

You are missing the point. The fact is simply this: all over Nigeria today, girls of her age are in relationships with guys of the boys age and people are well aware. This practice may indeed be wrong but what i am drawing your attention to is that fact that if you are to be honest with yourself, a large part of your umbrage stems simply from the fact that the boy is a nothern muslim. This in fact, an age old sectarian battle being fought by proxy, in the lives of these two misguided young ones. Look at the bolded comment you made?

The girl was not abducted. She ran away from home with a boy who who ought to have known better. Stupid? yes but otherwise, nothing we have not see or heard of before.
