TheGoodJoe:
“The NFF president said enough is enough for indigenous coaches and my question is, ‘Who does he know in coaching in Nigeria to insult us, saying enough is enough?’ Who have they trained and developed? For me, it’s an insult to coaches in this country for anybody to get up and say ‘enough is enough, I won’t invite indigenous coaches again’,” Laloko said.

“We’ll wait for the person he wants to bring. I’ve worked with at least three (NFA) general secretaries and four foreign coaches. The only foreign coach who added to what I knew was Philippe Troussier. I don’t know what type of coach they are going to bring. I worked with Thijs Libregts, Bora Milutinovic, Johannes Bonfrere and Troussier and they didn’t know anything different from what Nigerian coaches knew.

Slowly, it seems the biggest mistake we have made is appointing this man Pinnick as the head of Nigerian football governing body.

Pinnick's statement is ridiculous. Glad Kashimawo Laloko spoke out on his ridiculous statement. Men like Pinnick sabotages Nigerian coaches and blame them. How many foreign coaches can go through what Coach Keshi, Amunike and Siasia went through and deliver trophies.

If Pinnick is so blind to see the strides our indeginious coaches made in improving our football image, then he needs to leave his position.

Laloko is one of the coaches who discovered John Obi Mike.

Nigeria can not make any meaningful achievement in football with people like Pinnick at the helm of affairs.

What these NFF members do is to appoint local Coaches and give them harsh conditions to work under deliberately, so that they can fail and give the enough reasons as to why they can't engage Nigerian Coaches again.

Rubbish, let me see where they will get the Millions to hire the Foreign Carpenters again under this administration.

Shittu: Mikel Will Decide On Olympics, Eagles Don’t Need Foreign Coach

https://d1bez7r3o7wd77.cloudfront.net/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/mikel3.jpg
By Izuchukwu Okosi:
FIFA licensed players agent John Shittu has admitted that he has no influence on his client Mikel Obi’s decision to play for Nigeria at the Rio 2016 Olympics.

Mikel missed the 2008 Olympics but could be in Rio if U-23 Eagles coach Samson Siasia includes the 28-year-old as one of three overage players.

“I think it’s too early to discuss who will be in the Nigerian football team to the Olympics,” Shittu told Comple tesportsnigeria.com. “You talk about Mikel, but it’s a decision for Mikel to make. Fortunately we have very good young players all over the world and FIFA acknowledges the Olympics.”

Shittu has also given a thumbs down to the decision of the Nigeria Football Federation to hire a foreign coach for the Super Eagles in the aftermath of the resignation of Sunday Oliseh as the head coach of the national team.

The NFF President, Amaju Pinnick, had in a function in the USA revealed that the Federation have reached its “last bus-stop” on hiring indigenous coaches and will henceforth go for foreign coaches.

The NFF though appointed a consortium of Nigerian coaches headed by Siasia and also comprising of Emmanuel Amuneke, Salisu Yusuf and Alloy Agu to be in temporary charge of the Eagles as the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Egypt on March 25 and 29 approach.

“For me, Nigeria don’t need foreign coaches for the Super Eagles. I will advise the Nigeria Football Federation to stick with our local coaches,” Shittu added.

“The game in Africa is different from that of Europe or South America. The best coaches, the world class coaches are not easy to hire. Will the NFF be able to accept such a coach’s conditions and perhaps salaries. We should be proud of our own. What class of foreign coach are we going for anyway, that’s another thing.”

On the task of beating Egypt to enhance Nigeria’s chances of qualifying for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon, Shittu stressed all Siasia need do is invite the best Nigerian players currently based on form and fitness.

“Samson Siasia is on interim basis. Since he could not qualify the Eagles for the 2012 AFCON, he has a chance to redeem himself somewhat if he can defeat Egypt home and away or at least get a draw away.

“But more importantly he should invite players on current form and fitness. He’s going to work with good coaches too. I wish them the very best,” Shittu said.

Nigeria VS Egypt at AFCON 2010

Former Nigeria coach Sunday Oliseh has made a bold prediction – the Super Eagles will beat Egypt in AFCON qualifiers home and away this month.

Nigeria will first welcome the seven-time African champions on March 25, before they travel to Cairo for the reverse clash on March 29.

And Oliseh has restated his belief that even though he is no longer in charge of the Eagles, the team are capable of doing a double over the Pharaohs with Nigeria even recording a bigger win in Egypt.

“As a Nigerian, I can assure you you should not fear the Egyptians,” he said on his personal website.

“Egypt is a good team but definitely far from the Egypt of 5 years ago and our new assembled team is definitely better.

“If we play with the philosophy and players I have put on ground, we will definitely beat Egypt home and away with a larger margin in Egypt!

“Remember we don’t concede easily anymore.”

Emmanuel Emenike Celebrates with Westham United

Despite a shock retirement from international football, Emmanuel Emenike has told AfricanFootball.com he remains a big fan of the Super Eagles and has backed them to beat Egypt in Kaduna later this month.

Nigeria take on group leaders Egypt on March 25 with a return match fixed for March 29 as the AFCON 2017 qualifying campaign gathers momentum.

“Irrespective of my decision not to play for the team anymore, I am still a very big fan of my beloved country, which I have been even before I got the chance to play for the team," Emenike told AfricanFootball.com

"And even without me, Nigeria will beat Egypt with the talented stars from across the world in the team with the fans always there to ginger and support the team to victory.

“I believe Nigeria will beat Egypt and nothing will stop them from getting to the Nations Cup."

The striker, who is on loan to West Ham United from Fenerbache, will also call on the fans to respect his decision to quit the Eagles amid rumours he could be recalled in the wake of Sunday Oliseh’s shock resignation and the return of coach Samson Siasia, who first capped him for Nigeria.

"With due respect to the fans and every patriotic football lovers across the World who still wants to see me play for the Eagles, my decision is very simple in the sense that I want to give room for other players in the team,” he maintained.

“I don't mean to hurt anybody especially my fans who want to see me back for Nigeria. I know the fans are always supportive whenever I played for the country. I can't turn back on the Super Eagles even though I am not going to be there again.

“The players have been wonderful, they are my friends and I always motivate some of them to get better and lift the team.

“I don't want to look disrespectful to the fans, who have always believed in me and the team."

Enyeama - Will he rescind his decision to quit the Super Eagles?

Nigeria caretaker coach Samson Siasia has said he would be delighted to welcome back Vincent Enyeama and Emmanuel Emenike for this month’s AFCON qualifiers against Egypt even after both quit international football.

Both Lille goalkeeper Enyeama and West Ham striker Emenike have made it clear they will not be rescinding their decision to play again for Nigeria even after the exit of Sunday Oliseh, who is widely believed to have forced them out of the national team.

Siasia disclosed the Eagles secretary has already spoken to the two players and he also hopes to have a word with them.

“I will also talk to them. If they can help us of course we will be happy to see them back in the team,” Siasia said.

“I have not directly contacted any of the players for now, but I told the team secretary Dayo Enebi to get in touch and also forward their numbers to me to talk to them too.”

Siasia gave Emenike his Eagles debut in 2011, but he had a major fall out with Enyeama when he was first in charge of the country’s team.

Super Eagles coach Samson Siasia has admitted it would be a big challenge against Egypt in AFCON 2017 qualifiers this month, but he is confident that with hard work Nigeria could come out on top.

“The job of handling the Super Eagles is not too tasking, but rather it is a big challenge. It is not like a mountain we cannot climb, but it is a very tough one,” said Siasia, who is getting a second chance with his country’s full international team after Sunday Oliseh threw in the towel last week.

“I am not feeling any pressure. All we want to do is to make sure that we do well in the next coming games, that it is.”

The coach also confirmed he met with the technical director of the Nigeria Football Federation today in Abuja and he will also meet with the NFF technical committee on Thursday after which the squad list for the matches against Egypt will be announced.

“We actually discussed with the technical director Shuaibu Amodu to try to put the list of the invited players together. So, after the meeting of the technical committee on Thursday, the list would be released,” he further disclosed.

Cuper must beat Nigeria or face the axe

Egypt's coach Hector Cuper

Egypt coach Hector Cuper has been given a two-game ultimatum by the country’s FA, and he must either defeat Nigeria in two 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers later this month or face the axe.

The Argentine has had unwavering support from the Egyptian FA, but Completesportsnigeria.com quotes a source who claims the body was unimpressed with the Pharaohs’ warm-up win over Burkina Faso in Alexandria on the weekend.

“Cuper has been given a two-match ultimatum by the Egyptian Football Association," the source is quoted.

“He has been told to beat Nigeria and ensure Egypt qualify for Gabon 2017 or face dismissal.

“EFA chiefs were not impressed with the team’s performance against Burkina Faso and have warned Cuper to shape up and pick valuable points in Kaduna and Alexandria, if he hopes to retain his job.”

Cuper’s contract stipulates that Egypt must qualify for the AFCON, a tournament they have won a record six times. However, the North African giants last qualified for AFCON in Angola 2010.

The Pharaohs lead Group G of the 2017 qualifiers with six points from two games, while Nigeria are second with four points.

The first match between the Super Eagles and the Pharaohs will be held in Kaduna on March 25, with the return game set for Alexandria four days later.

Cuper happy with preparations for Nigeria

Eagypt's Coach Hector Cuper

by Phumzile Ngcatshe

Egyptian national team coach Hector Cuper says they're ready for the Super Eagles of Nigeria and is in content with their preparations thus far.

The country's media reports that Cuper will ensure they don't repeat the mistakes his team conceded against the Burkina Faso.

The Pharaohs have concluded their preparations ahead of their 2017 CAF Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Nigeria.

Egypt won their last friendly, beating a local-based Burkinabe 2-0 at Alexandria's Borg El-Arab stadium on Saturday.

"I am satisfied with the Burkina Faso game and I will work to avoid the mistakes made in the friendly when we face Nigeria," Cuper told the post game press conference.

“We almost reached the final line-up with the start of the Nigeria game.

"We build our squad depending on the players' performance in the recent games.

"The Nigeria game is a test to determine our real abilities, and we will do our best during this game.

"I understand the criticism after facing minor teams since we didn't reach the high performance we all look for but we will when we play against Nigeria.”

The Super Eagles have recently parted ways with coach Sunday Oliseh and will be led by Samson Siasia for the upcoming clash at home and away.

Nigeria will host Egypt on 25 March in the first leg of the 2017 Cup of Nations qualifiers, while the return match will be played in Alexandria four days later.

REVEALED: How Kanu avoided training every week!

https://static.goal.com/2777600/2777682_heroa.jpg

By Alex Young

Harry Redknapp was advised by most against signing the Nigerian, who went on to score 28 goals over six seasons, but was not a fan of Monday mornings

GOAL EXTRA TIME
Monday mornings are always hard but no one hates them more than Nwankwo Kanu apparently.

Harry Redknapp has been reminiscing about signing the former Nigerian star at Portsmouth, where he spent six seasons and scored 20 goals, including the winner in the 2008 FA Cup final.

But the striker made a habit of skipping out on a Monday training session, as Redknapp told KingFut: "The most common thing I'd get from Kanu was a message every Monday morning that at some points it felt pre-recorded.

"'Boss, the King cannot come into training. I have an upset stomach.'"
https://u.goal.com/2777600/2777692.jpg
Redknapp was warned against signing Kanu, who was 30 years old when he joined Portsmouth, but immediately proved his worth during a 31-minute cameo on his debut as a substitute against Blackburn.

"I called him up and asked him what he was up to, I always wondered what he had done ever since he left West Brom," Redknapp said.

"I asked him if he was fit to play and to this he replied saying: 'Yes, I just had a run around the park two weeks ago,' so I gave him the address and asked him to come down to training.

"I didn't play him until the second half when we were 1-0 up. My assistants were against me playing him and were worried but I trusted the lad, he went on to score twice and missed a penalty for his hat-trick."

Super Eagles: Nigerians want indigenous coaches instead of foreigners

Lagos – Some football fans on Tuesday in Lagos urged the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) to reconsider its decision not to hire indigenous coaches to manage the senior national team, Super Eagles.

The fans spoke against the backdrop of the statement “No more Nigerian coaches for Super Eagles’’, credited to the NFF President, Amaju Pinnick, on Sunday. They said instead, the NFF should develop local coaches to meet global standards.

A commercial bus driver, Yusuf Jasmin, said the Eagles needed a coach that could understand the players and not necessarily a foreigner that did not know how to handle them.

“We have been going back and forth for decades on bettering football in the country and till date we do not have a clue on how to tackle the issue. “I still don’t understand why a fellow Nigerian is not seen as fit for the coaching position of our national team and we want to turn to the whites that are racist.

“We need someone who will understand our players and not a white coach that will come and create more problems for the team,’’ he said. An athlete, Efe Osaruwa, accused the NFF of causing confusion for the Eagles by not allowing the appropriate authorities to carry out their duties without distraction. “A lot can be said about the NFF but the most important now in respect of this issue is the fact that they disguise themselves as advisers but truly are causing confusion.

If you recall that before Shuaibu Amodu and his team, the NFF employed Bonfre Jo, Philip Trousiere and others who were foreign nationals that were pushed off the post too. “Does this mean that with the battalion of coaches the national team has had, no one can be singled out as proficient? “We have been pointing fingers at the wrong place but it is now clear that the NFF and its leadership are to blame for our setback,’’ he said.

Another fan, Adekunle Aremu, a final year student of LASPOTECH, said leadership of the NFF should be queried for not keeping to the promise made to coaches when they are hired. “It is corruption that has been our problem in the team. “Monies are not paid in due time to players and the technical team because someone is probably sitting on what does not belong to him. “If we must achieve results in the Super Eagles, NFF should be probed and its leadership changed.

“The president should declare a state of emergency in football or else we won’t be able to achieve anything in the next few qualifiers and competitions ahead of us,’’ he said. According to him, the Super Eagles have lost great coaches due to breach of contracts and it should be dealt with by the NFF leadership. NFF has insisted on having expatriates to head the technical crews of the various national teams, but the back-room staff would still be headed by the indigenous coaches.

Sunday Oliseh, former coach of the team had last Friday announced his resignation on his Twitter handle. Oliseh cited the inability of the NFF to honour the terms of his contract as part of his reasons for quitting the job. “Due to contract violations, lack of support, unpaid wages, benefits to my players, assistant coaches and myself, I resign as Super Eagles Chief Coach,’’ he tweeted. Oliseh whose appointment was made with much fanfare by the NFF, soon started having problems with the NFF executive over remuneration, match tactics and results.

NFF launches Operation Defeat Egypt

The Nigeria Football Federation has launched what it calls Operation Defeat Egypt as the Super Eagles prepare for the two-legged 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualification tie. The first leg is billed for March 25 in Kaduna.

The Vice-President of the NFF, Seyi Akinwunmi, told reporters in Lagos on Tuesday that the federation was determined to beat the Egyptians in Kaduna and in Cairo and as such would work extra hard to achieve that goal. He stated that the NFF had every reason to believe the target was achievable.

He said, “This is the present pre-occupation of the federation for now. This is no time for politicking or dwelling in the past. We are asking all Nigerians to join forces with the federation to defeat the visiting Egyptians.

“We have a singular objective now, which is to defeat Egypt in order to guarantee the Super Eagles a place at the next AFCON.’’

The Chairman of the Technical Committee of the federation, Mr. Chris Green, who was also present, said a list of players to make the squad would be unveiled in Abuja on Thursday. He said over 50 players have been in touch with the NFF concerning the crucial clash.

“The Technical Committee will ratify the list to be presented by the coaching crew. We do not have the luxury of time on our side,” Green said.

Green told reporters that caretaker coach, Samson Siasia, has been empowered along with his crew to go all out for the players to don the national colours for the match.

“He has been provided a car and other things he needs to perform well. He and his staff will be working directly with the Technical Director of the federation, Shaibu Amodu.”

He said a committee had since been working in Kaduna in a bid to ensure a hitch-free match. He told journalists the committee was working in every aspect concerning the venue of the game to ensure things ran smoothly.

The second leg would hold in Cairo on March 29. Egypt currently tops Group G with six points from two matches, followed by Nigeria with four points from same number of matches.

Nigeria started the campaign with a win over Chad in Kaduna but managed a goalless outing in Dar es Salaam against Tanzania.

Nwosu Frowns on Move to Hire Foreign Coach

Super Eagles legend Henry Nwosu on Tuesday kicked at the stealth move by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) to hire a foreign technical adviser.

Two days ago, NFF President Amaju Pinnick, announced that the federation was negotiating with a foreign coach to oversee the national team after the unpalatable experience with Sunday Oliseh, who ditched the Eagles few weeks before a crucial Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Egypt.

Former Rwanda coach Sredojevic Milutin on Tuesday emerged as the mystery foreigner on NFF’s wish list with strong hints indicating that the one called ‘Micho’, who is the current coach of Uganda, might take up appointment next month after the double-header against Egypt.

In any event he is appointed, it would mark the first time a foreign coach would be heading the technical crew of Nigeria since Lars Lagerback of Sweden led the Eagles to the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.

Nwosu, a member of the effervescent national team of 1980, voiced objection to a foreign coach for the national team. The former Eagles captain felt foreigners are no better than the indigenous coaches.

“I have no objection if NFF think they can afford a foreign coach but why I am not in total support of such plan is that we have indigenous coaches with proven antecedent to realise our objectives of securing Africa Cup of Nations and World Cup slots for the national team,” Nwosu insisted.

The Gateway of Abeokuta gaffer wanted NFF to make Samson Siasia, Emmanuel Amuneke, Salisu Yusuf and Alloy Agu as the Eagles long-term coaches, with Chief Adegboye Onigbinde, Shaibu Amodu or Christian Chukwu only acting in advisory capacity.

He reasoned that time is too short for Siasia, saying his fate should not be contingent on the outcome of the tough fixtures against Egypt.

“Siasia and Amuneke have proven themselves as young coaches. We can rely on them with any of the older generation coaches like Onigbinde, Amodu or Keshi in the background as advisers. Our home ground coaches are capable if they are supported. Even Keshi proved himself when he handled the team. His only offence was that they did not like his gut,” Nwosu said.

He advised NFF to rebound from the hangover caused by the disaffection with Oliseh, saying the distraction should be a thing of the past.

“The raging crisis should not undermine us Egypt. Oliseh is not a good coach. You are a good coach when you respond to pressure, not when you are suppressed by tension”.

Are slams Pinnick over foreign coach plan

Nigeria Football Federation Chairman, Amaju Pinnick

Olufemi Atoyebi

Chairman of Kakanfo Inn and Conference Centre, Dr. Lekan Are, has frowned against the plan by the Nigeria Football Federation to bring in a foreign coach to replace Sunday Oliseh, who resigned as Eagles coach recently.

NFF president, Amaju Pinnick, announced that there would be no more indigenous coach for the Super Eagles after Oliseh’s resignation while also naming coach of the U-23 team, Samson Siasia as the Eagles interim coach.

Are, who also advised Siasia to reject the offer, said unless the NFF was restructured, genuine stakeholders would continue to chase shadows. He warned that the Eagles might fail against Egypt in the next Nations Cup qualifier, calling on Siasia to beware of the trap ahead of him.

He said, “I was shocked when I read it but I was not surprised because I knew that the NFF was just acting a script. They had a plan before firing Stephen Keshi unjustly and brought in Oliseh, even though he had no cognate experience to handle the job. I did not comment on Oliseh’s performance before but now, I have no doubt in my mind that Oliseh was the wrong man for the job.

“With the way Oliseh left, NFF president Pinnick should have resigned if he was a decent man because he brought Oliseh. I am disappointed that they are looking for a foreign coach. The NFF is the problem of football in Nigeria and unless we restructure it and get the right people in, the actual stakeholders will be chasing shadows. If we need a foreign coach, then we equally need a foreigner to be the NFF president. They should learn on the job and improve.”

Are said Nigeria was blessed with good coaches to manage the Eagles but added that the NFF had always worked against the success of the home-based coaches.

“We have coaches who can manage the national team successfully if they are given a chance. Our problem is that immediately we get a coach, the NFF begins to set impossible targets when they have not equipped him properly. We have been having fire brigade approach. Siasia should not have accepted the Eagles job. Maybe he is being brought in so that he can fail because there is no time for him to prepare for the Egypt match. He should think twice before going along with the NFF plan, more so that it is been said that he is only a stop gap arrangement before a foreign coach is hired.”

The Vitesse loanee has now found the net three times from four matches in the SPL since arriving Tynecastle in the January transfer window.

Nigeria international Juwon Oshaniwa literally watched the game versus Inverness CT from the stands while Dauda was substituted 11 minutes from time.

I agree 100% with Are here. This is a clear case of sabotage and that was why these men owed and starved our coaches regularly.

Some will say no money now. How about in the past when there was money and GEJ pumped in billions of naira into the NFF and the NFF owed the players ad coaches.

We need a total revolution in football because the Nigerian football governing body pulled us back for too long.

Eagles star Onazi - Confident

Lazio midfielder Ogenyi Onazi has said Nigeria’s Super Eagles will pick the AFCON 2017 ticket ahead of group leaders Egypt.

The Lazio midfielder maintained the Eagles are no strangers to walking a tight rope during qualifying round for major tournaments and that Eagles will triumph over Egypt.

He also talked about his expectations at his Italian Serie A club.

The full interview:

QUESTION: The memory of missing out of AFCON 2015 is still fresh in the mind of Nigerians, now Nigeria are walking a tight rope for AFCON 2017, do you see Eagles making it this time around?

ONAZI: We will make it to AFCON 2017 by the grace of God. This time, it's going to be a different ball game. It's unfortunate that we are always in situation like this when we want to qualify for major competitions like the Nations Cup and World Cup.

I believe this time around we will be matured about it and we know how the emotions were when we couldn't make it to the last edition of the Nations Cup. We will be very direct and serious about it.

Egypt are Nigeria next opponent in the AFCON 2017 qualifiers, do you think Eagles can be victorious over the Pharaohs?

There are no unbeatable teams in the world. We can actually beat them. They are coming to our home first and victory in the match is very important for us. We have to do all we can to beat them and go top of the group because that's the surest way we can qualify.

Oliseh resigned as Eagles coach, did you see it coming?

His resignation came to me as a surprise. I wasn't expecting it. I don't really know what happened and how it happened, but that's his decision, I am sure he has his reasons for doing that.

What can you say about coach Samson Siasia's appointment?

Coach Samson Siasia is a great coach, he has achieved with various Nigeria teams. I am looking forward to work with him and have a great performance with him.

You have been in Lazio for five years now, how has the journey been so far?

It has not been easy, but God has been piloting everything for me and always in charge. God has been making everything to go well. I thank all my team mates at the club, the officials and the coaches.

Lazio missed out on silverware last season, are you looking forward to one at the end of this season?

We are doing our best to win trophies, if it comes we will take it and if it doesn't we move ahead and work towards the future.

African teams referred to as minnows don't fear Eagles again, what do you think is responsible for this?

That is not peculiar to only the Eagles. No country is afraid of facing another these days because the game is now more open. People complained and were asking questions why we couldn't beat Swaziland away. Football is advancing and every country is getting talents, developing and coming up.

What would you have done if not for football and now music?

A lot. I know there are lots of talents in me which I would have discovered. I am happy to be footballer and praising God with music.

You recently got married, how has that affected you as a person?

We did just the registry. We will do the main thing in June. Marriage comes with blessings and they are beginning to unfold. I have been seen a lot of signs. But nothing has changed about me.

Keshi - NFF technical committee made sure they pushed out 'Big Boss'

by Samm Audu

The technical committee of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has been described as “a source of destabilization” in the country’s football and they have only succeeded in bullying and sacking national team coaches.

Former top NFF officials Charles Ojugbana and Austin Mgbolu raised serious concerns over the technical committee headed by Chris Green, saying the committee is one of the problems facing football in Nigeria.

“This group of people (technical committee) has hijacked football in the country. They have bullied and even sacked coaches who have gone against them,” said former NFF spokesman Mgbolu on a television discussion programme this week.

“They made sure they pushed out Stephen Keshi and now it is Oliseh.

“They have had overbearing influence and have shown they are a source of destabilization.

“This is a committee that should be dominated by technical experts with proven track record, not just somebody who will analyse the match between Arsenal and Manchester United.”

Ojugbana, who rose to be deputy general secretary of the NFF, also echoed a similar position, while arguing that the NFF have totally mismanaged the appointment and subsequent resignation of Super Eagles coach Sunday Oliseh.

“Oliseh was hailed as ‘Pep Guardiola of Africa’ when he was appointed. But his resume did not back such a claim and his appointment was mismanaged,” he said.

The NFF members, not just the technical committee should give the coaches and handlers of the Super Eagles a chance to make mistakes and learn from it.

This is a chance for the Nigerian footballing body to learn from their mistakes. Treat coach Siasia well and give him a chance to grow. Stop the bullying and maltreatment of coaches.
