Rashford and memphis made me proud. Riley and varela will make our fullback position stable for 10yrs..Herrera and schneiderlin should always start games in midfield.

[b]I've been a full blooded Manchester United fan for the past 10years (atleast) if I'm not mistaken. I've always been a patriotic fan since the day I fell for Manchester United and to visit Old Trafford (the Theatre Of Dreams) someday will be a great accomplishment to crave my loyalty where it lies.

I remember the era of Sir Alex Ferguson and how winning great matches was a feeling second to non. How we bossed our opponents in most times. We played great football of counter-attacking and most points, we never had the great stars in football during those periods because we made our own stars from nothing; players who played for the love of both the team and the club. I will always remember how our players always celebrated whenever they scored; you can see that passion in them. We had world class players in their own way.

When it was time for Sir Alex Ferguson to call time on his career on 8 May, 2013 it felt like a day we prayed never to come. A successor to take the tradition of the club further became a herculean task and at the same time, most fans if not all became gutted because it seems like we were never going to have our "Dream Coach" and just when we lost all hopes, on 6 May, 2013 David Moyes was officially announced as the next man for the job after signing a 6years contract. I couldn't just believe what I saw, read and heard on that faithful day. Despite knowing his precedence in Everton, I just knew he wasn't the man for the job but I just had to believe in him as a try.

We all know the stories that followed after his reign began on 1 July, 2013. His first unofficial game as a United manager ended in a defeat to Singha All-Stars in Bangkok on 13 July, 2013. Countless of records that defined us as a team began to fall like a pack of cards or should I say like dry leaves from a tree. Players who won titles with us became average players or should I say were no where to be found. We started plunging large amount of money into the transfer market but still we couldn't go back to our days of glory and just then, I knew it was time for David Moyes to go cause we lost every bit of respect in our opponents' eyes. Those moments where like bitter pills to swallow.

On 22 April, 2014 he was sacked and replaced in the interim by our long-serving player, Ryan Giggs after our lowest league finish since the establishment of the Premier League (7th position).

Ryan Giggs was in-charge of four games and at that time we have mixed results; two wins, one draw and one defeat.

After his final match in charge, a 1–1 draw with
Southampton, Giggs admitted to breaking down in tears, in part due to the pressure of managing United, and also said he had struggled to sleep during the period.

On 19 May, 2014 Louis van Gaal was officially announced as the man to take over from David Moyes with the mandate of qualifying us to the UEFA Champions League and on 16 July, 2016 he officially took charge of a match after signing a 3years contract. To be frank, I was overjoyed after seeing what he did in the 2014 World Cup at Brazil. I began to have this feeling of him "being the right man" but long before time, I began to hear his past relationships with players in Ajax, Barcelona and Bayern Munich as a manager. I almost began to lose faith in him immediately but I still had to give him a try knowing what we have gone through since Sir Alex Ferguson left in 2013.

We began to have mixed results but our tradition and style of play began to change even further. We mostly had narrow wins but like they always say, "The win doesn't matter". Players were been used out of positions but I still had my cool. We had managed to finish 4th in the League and had qualified for the playoffs in the UEFA Champions League after we were given an easy challenge to face Club Brugge.

2015/2016 season began after we qualified for the group stage of the UCL in which we were grouped with Wolfsburg, PSV and CSKA Moscow in what seemed to be an easy group. Our style of narrow wins continued with our tradition of attacking football further degrading. We began to see the era of David Moyes crippling in but under a new face and we the fans lost every patience in LVG.

A perfect timing to the sack of Jose Mourinho, availability of Carlo Ancelloti and rumours of Pep Guardiola leaving Bayern Munich even Jurgen Klopp would have been added to the list if not that Liverpool had already snapped his signature.

Three to four world class coaches were available for us to select and Manchester United faithfuls were thrown into estascy from time to time with rumours of links to one of these coaches or the other. Guardiola was pictured as a perfect choice for our dying tradition but doubts of his inexperience in English league just like Ryan Giggs striked a bad spot on getting him for the job. Before we could decide our position, Ancelloti had been officially announced as the next person to manage Bayern and Guardiola was rumoured to be heading to Manchester City which later became official. We were left with only Mourinho as the last option but style and tactics of the game became an issue before the board.

We became divided on who we wanted as our next manager between Ryan Giggs and Jose Mourinho but it seems only Ed Woodward is fully behind Louis van Gaal and Woodward's head has been called for in refusing to sack LVG but Mourinho has been rumoured to have won the fight for short term success and the only person capable of going head to head with Guardiola. Rumours will always remain rumours but we never know when they'll be CONFIRMED OFFICIALLY.

This long epistle is for that person who thinks I know nothing about MANCHESTER UNITED or I'm just an unpatriotic weak fan. This is to clear the air before I make my thoughts on the current situation from Old Trafford (The Theatre Of Dreams). THANK YOU!

[b]I can say that I'm disappointed with our side passes, back passes and lack of attacking football. Manchester United has a great squad that when harnessed, can match the likes of PSG, Barcelona, Bayern, Real Madrid and what have you. The likes of Xavi, Inestia, Busquets, Messi and what have you never made their marks in one day. Even our class of '94 took years to become what we know them for today.

I don't want the likes of Guardiolas, Mourinhos, Ancelloti, Klopp and other world class coaches in Manchester United. Who knew about Luis Enrique before he took over the reigns in Camp Nou. He was only the coach of "Celta Vigo". Guardiola was only an ex player before he made a name for himself.
Mourinho was only a journalist in sports before he ventured in the game. Wenger was only a graduate of Economic. Even our Sir Alex Ferguson was just the coach of Scotland before he came to Old Trafford.

Giggs has a great future in managing us just like Zidane is doing at Madrid.

Any manager can turn around our fortunes and not necessarily "World Class" managers.

Our academy is really in a bad shape right now and we need an urgent emergency in restructuring it. We need to also look at how we can re-strategize our scouting system. I don't know who makes the major decisions in our board but if LVG is leaving today, Ed Woodward or whosoever needs to also follow same path. Thank you!

A very good match. Our academy players are wonderful. This academy set have a lot of promises if they are well blended, with proper guidance they could surpass the academy set of giggs and scholes. Time will tell.

Rashford passes are sleek and sexy and his finishes are also wonderful. I think he has an intelligent movement. He positions himself perfectly at a point he would receive the ball and finish the scoring. Do we still need Rooney against arsenal?

Memphis is gradually regaining confidence. The boys had a great game. Varela the Uruguayan was superb
Riley too.

These academy kids have played together for years and perfectly understand one another. See how varela caught rashford at the other end and gave the pass. Many examples to prove it. I say the academy kids be given more chance to prove their worth. Since fellaini and Rooney are all no longer ho...rny for goals.

Romero should be sold to IfeanyiUbahFC.
I don't think romero is a bad keeper..

Our name has been tarnished severally LG transfer windows. Starting from the De Gea saga, and the coutless other times we tried to sign Ramos and even neymar.madrid president just said the united board can't process a transfer request. That was a Shame. I believe Woodward is in charge of transfers and he is likened to moyes the clueless one.

I understand your point about the coach. I'm also a fan of Giggs. He has played for over 20years in the premier league and over 10years in the champions league with united only. I don't understand how he does not have the experience to succeed at united. For a newbie coach, winning two games losing one and drawing one is not a bad record.

I think van gaal should go at the end of the season. But if he loses shamefully against arsenal he should Sven go after the weekend.

• It took Messi 8 years to score two goals against Cech, but it only took Rashford 32 minutes to tear Cech apart. A new cult hero seems to have been born in Old Trafford.

Largas : From ur long epistle you've spoken well. But I think we should employ a world-class coach that can revive our status for 2 years. After which Giggsy can now takeover; my reason is just that it will be easier for Giggs to takeover a revived team than a shattered team cos if Giggs should takeover now, itz gonna take a whole lot of time to put the team back in shape and the fans might not be that patient.

And the best manager in that mould is Mourinho who has a proven track record of 2-year success in every team he manages.

Brytawon : I believe Rashford isn't of 'the cult hero' status yet. Yes, he has scored 4 goals cos of his excellent positioning but position of a striker is more of that. Though I'm happy as a fan that we've a youngster we can rely on in times of injury but I believe he is not yet ready to be called a potential star. I made my assumption from his 2matches I watched, though I haven't seen him train so I can't give a conclusive report as regards his potentials

Man Utd have been having a kinda stop-start performance since the turn of the year and I jez hope that this our recent form we've garnered in the last two matches will continue tonight vs Watford cos Watford no be beans ooooo.

I believe in Memphis' talent

I prefer my thoughts to come after the game. Martial and Darmian should be available for today's selection with Smalling probably joining them. I would love to see Martial and Rashford being patterned.
Watford are a stubborn team to beat so I want a game of pace and a little bit of possession. I also tip Depay to start but I know LVG will still go for the 4-2-3-1 formation. The good news is that most of our injured players are coming back this month and most notable is Luke Shaw. grin

I just wish Will Keane had better luck coz I him to have a career in Manchester United but it seems otherwise now.

Even if Darmian is 100% fit, I prefer Varela to him but I'm sure he isn't 100% fit so he might not start. It seems u wanna see this Rashford of a guy in all our line-up henceforth cheesy grin If Martial is fit enough then he should start up-front flanked by Depay and Lingard wif Mata behind him. We would really need Schneiderlin today to track down Deeney and Ighalo's run. Smalling should also return to CB (we need him).

BTW, I think LVG is unimpressed with the efforts of McNair as he has sit more games than he has been used this season even when he had to be subbed in to wrap victories e.g against Chelsea and Arsenal

I want us to start building up our own Xavis, Iniestas, Mullers and the rest. In our last game against Arsenal, we only had two players who were above 26. That's impressive!

Our academy lads have a great future before them and I support such systems but Mourinho has a bad record in implementing such and I know Giggs knows what it means to "have our own".

about d xavi and d mullers, when last did a Barcelona academy product become a first team player?how about Bayern? these clubs have quality academy also, but if you'd notice of recent they spend on quality ahead of academy...football is evolving, its OK to have one bright academy talent, but to think of having them in all parts of your 1st 11 now, you're not ready to b a great club...
