Am happy to reveal this data plan that was secretly introduced by airtel Nigeria recently. The marathon race is still ongoing as more and more cheapest data plan and packages are being introduced everyday. As you know most recently airtel introduced a plan of 1GB for N100 to be used on weekly basis, while another cheap data plan is of this 3GB data for just N1,000 valid for 30 days (1 month). this was strategy to compete with Glo of 3GB for N1,000 on board.

if you like yourself don't dial that code "*431#" with your 1k except of course if you use blackberry cos that's bb absolute plan. if you really want the airtel 1g called airtel Android 1.0 the code is *496#. *431# na for 3.072G but it won't work on your Android.

I saw this post and decided to try it out. it doesn't work on Android phones and I've been begging airtel to refund my 1k for over a week now. in fact, I know all their customer representatives by name now owing to how often I've called.

If they won't refund you, just tell them you wanna convert the 1k into another sub that works for your phone. [s] just like Igbo guys wont refund you, but change [/s]

samething happened to me not knowing na trap o! but it took about 36 hours before they reverted it for me. but I quickly used the 1k to sub for the 1g.... I don learn my lesson awoof dey purge belle. just like someone said tell them you want to sub for another plan probably the 1g or they will even suggest you add 500hunds to it to get something bigger than 1g. by the way keep calling them like kilode
