Sure, you may have some hairy friends, but not like this. Formally known as hypertrichosis, there are only about 50 people in the world afflicted with this rare disorder. Unfortunately for them not even laser hair removal is an effective treatment as the hair will rapidly grow back.

22. Polyostotic Fibrous Dysplasia.

This is a form of Fibrous dysplasia which effects more than one bone, it's an abnormal bone growth where normal bone is replaced with fibrous bone tissue. Fibrous dysplasia causes abnormal growth or swelling of bone. it can occurin any part of the skeleton but the bones of the skull, thigh, shin, ribs, upper arm and pelvis whichcauses fractures and deformity. This condition isvery rare, and there is no known cure, but surgeryis an option. Here's one brave girl who went through it all.

I experienced this as a child. it usually when i did something wrong and about to be punished. i will feel as if i am as tall as an iroko tree while my father appears to be tiny grin

. it was such a wonderful experiece.
