Chinwendym! I have been meaning to ask but always forgets. I remember In your birth story, at a point you started bleeding during labour, what was the cause?

Doctor said its placenta previa or something, that the placenta got separated in the course of labour and all the scan I did prior to that day never saw that the placenta was covering my cervix! Even the doctor that inserted the tablet for inducement also didn't feel it. So I guess the heavy contraction I was having was what pushed the placenta out with such force! resulting in the blood gush.

As for ANC I never start o altho am seeing a gyn and he said I will be avin a cerclage which hubby is not in support with because the doc didn't test to confirm if I really need it but I guess becos of the previous MC which I lost at 18weeks, and 8weeks. Although d one at 18weeks I didn't knw I wasn't supose to take pineapple whicch I did d week my water broke and d baby had to be evacuated, so am only looking up to God to grant me an hitch free pregnancy and be able to carry to term, as for the drugs abeg which should I go for pregnacare plus or Max? If plus what brand of calcium pls help o

I cannot forget your birth story lai lai . because we almost have a similar case. some mamas know about my story, well for those who don't "wait for my birth story/testimony" when i off load my 40feet container . It is well with all of us and shall end with praises IJN.

I get question concerning a close friend of mine, abeg make una help me torchlight dis matter..

She is about 6 months pregnant (due in June), her father just died unexpectedly at 64 after a brief illness & d burial has been fixed for early April. Issue is that she lives in PH & d burial wil b held in Lagos. Also, she's from a yoruba polygamous home (from d 1st wife) where they don't relate with each other as there's so much hidden animosity & 'spiritual' undertones. Some of d children don't even know each other She's confused whether to go or not. I advised her not to go, pls what do u think?

I take pineapple often too and i'm perfect. I think it will be a problem if u eat like 5-10 whole pineapple at a go. Besides, too much of everything is bad.

If your dh isnt in support of doing a cerclage maybe you both need to seek second opinion. But im quite certain the other doctor would recommend same..and maybe that would help convince your dh.
Pregnacare max supercedes the plus range as it contains calcium and omega 3. I take pregnacare max at the moment even though im planning to change to the regular folic acid, b complex, iron calcium and omega 3 tablets. (Just because of the size of the pregnacare tablets and maybe the cost).

I was thinking deeply about all that happened during the birth of my very first fruit of the womb and I became emotional. Suddenly, I remembered today is 4th of March, she would have clocked 6 today if she didn't pass on just 26 hours after birth due to meconium aspiration and other complications. You fought hard to live but GOd knows best. Boluwatife, continue to rest in the bossom of the Almighty till we meet to part no more. mummy loves you so much and you shall forever be in my heart my princess...
