U can't sell what is not urs. if u sell d car like dat, u r putting d buyer in debt, cos he will be required to do a double change of ownership.

I suggest u involve d first owner in d selling, so dat u can provide d buyer wt all required documents. remember a sellers id will be required when going for change of ownership, if he has one dat corresponds wt d name on d documents, it can be assumed that a second buyer never existed, since there is no docs to show dat. that way, a double ownership will not be necessary.

get a change of ownership and sell it as d rightful owner.

Go for the change of ownership. heard its about thirty something thousand, or involve ur sister to save u the extra cost

U DON'T HAVE TO DO CHANGE OF OWNERSHIP BEFORE SELLING D VEHICLE.

STEPS TO FOLLOW:

GET UR SISTER INVOLVED IN D SELLING OF D VEHICLE.

DRAFT OUT A RECIEPT OF PURCHASE TO D BUYER USING UR SISTER'S NAME AS D SELLER TO AVOID D BUYER FROM GOING THROUGH DOUBLE OWNERSHIP.

PROVIDE D BUYER WITH ALL ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS ESPECIALLY ALLOCATION OF REGISTRATION NO, PROVE OF OWNERSHIP CERTIFICATE, AND VEHICLE LICENSE. WITH THESE DOCUMENTS, D BUYER CAN EASILY PROCESS HIS CHANGE OF OWNERSHIP WITHOUT ANY ISSUES.

BUT IN A SITUATION WHERE U DO NOT HAVE THESE DOCUMENTS, D BUYER WILL HAVE 2 GO THROUGH LOST OF VEHICLE DOCUMENTS IN ORDER 2 PROCESS HIS CHANGE OF OWNERSHIP.
