It have been procastinating lately about reaching out to my elder brother. For an inexplicable reason, we do not communicate much except on matters that affect general family interest. We just fell apart like that for no reason in the last 15 years. Mine is technically a dysfunctional family. Interpretation: We hardly have time to bond owing to geography and other challenges. Fast forward to a few days ago. A gnawing thought kept hitting me that I should use subterfuge, cunning plus reverse psychology on him to get him to open up as to why he hardly calls bla bla bla. Do, I call? Early this morning, the thought, as early 0350hrs hit again me to call him. Something told me to call him so I determine that I would call him this evening so we could catch up on old times. I was at a weekend training conference at about 0820hrs this morning when calls started coming from my sisters et al. Cut the long story short, unknown to me, my brother Adeyanju Akeem Adetunji complained of mild headache to his wife late yesterday evening. He told her all he needed was a good sleep and that he would be fine. He never woke up from that slumber. Lesson herein is dont procastinate about reaching out to a friend or loved one. I have had my fair share of misfortune yet his death hit me realy hard. God I miss him in a way I can not decipher.
