This is the common saying I hear all the time on nairaland. Please for those of us who weren't paying attention in Nigerian history class,

When was Nigeria ever great?

What years was this?

Who's presidency?

What exactly made it great then?

Finally what is your solution to make it great again?

Nigeria will never be great especially not on the blood of Biafra or Biafra's grave. If Nigeria is to be great then she need to accept Biafra as a reality, not necessarily Biafra being an independent state, no that is not a must, but Nigerians must come to terms with Biafra, no matter how inconvenient it is, and sit and talk and negociate the new way foward. At least, true federal system is enough to send Nigeria sky high.

I wish I can hear from people that think that Nigeria used to be great. It's a common saying on nairaland.

According to my understanding, nigeria is great on nairaland, when nigerians are defend their country against us( South African) and Ghananians, beside that; they like to talk about "Baba go slow" and "Uncle Jona" a lot

People are avoiding this topic like Ebola. This is a learning opportunity for us all.
