I'll like to know the interpolation and therefore the extrapolation between MTN sims and the core indigenes of Maiduguri, who might not have seen a mast before

I guess you won't be asking this question if you know the implied multiplier effect of unregistered SIMS. MTN is inexcusable. Their negligence aided and abated terrorism and crime in Nigeria as stated by the President.

Are you playing silly or are you just outrightly stupid and bereft of reasoning? What kind of stupid animals are occupying Nigeria for christsake? Ha! Nigeria is really in a doldrum with your likes.
How can people not understand the importance of sim registration and it's implication for security? Why are Nigerians this stupid?
There is need for recolonisation, people like you need to be exchanged for mirrors or sardine!
Nigeria is on a long thing with people like you.

A 1985 President in 2015? Analogue phone in a smartphone era.
Buhari is an opportunist in a country called Nigeria.

Both him and GEJ are not fit to lead a local government let alone a country.

You really do have a poor man's mentality. There abound many pepper sellers in Lagos and across the country sending their kids abroad to school.

One doesn't have to be a millionaire to send kids to school abroad, it's a matter of priority.

BTW, the President only adduced reasons why MTN's actions which necessitated the fine contributed to the insurgency, he wasn't blaming them for the insurgency.

If this line were to come from Obama as he mentioned an axis of evil during the war against Alkeada, all wailers will applaud him but coming from PMB and he saying what made BH coordination for attacks all over the northeast easy; it is playing the blame game....... sad angry angry

Let's be sensitive for once please!!!!

Security checks to insurgency cuts across so many checks and balance in the world.

Unregistered Sim can be responsible for easy communication via calls, Internet usage, upload of graphics and worrisome acts of those devils incarnate.

Another thing to check is how do they buy their vehicles in mass without check, which autoland sell to them, how do they fuel their vehicles and their lighting (Cos they can't be planning in darknes). Further more, Hungry young men without food can't operate with hunger, how do they feed. Funding is another factor. Our security outfit are not doing enough to curb this menace.

Managing a sky scraper facility alone with full security check is no joke how much less several local government in Borno.

We need to up our game and beef up our security.

It cost IBB 6million to pay any visit to Lagos cos of security....

of course mtn's failure to register all sim cards on time or disconnect unregistered ones is inexcusable, but to say MTN is responsible for boko haram continued attacks is d dumbest of all, esp coming from a president. if boko haram needs sim cards to operate, dey will get sim cards, registered ones, dey just have to steal some people's phone close to usage. want to talk about sim retrieval? how many people in local communities do retrieve or block their lines after it get stolen? terrorism is an intelligence work, they are no fools, and how president is supposed to be intelligent and logical.

Looking at it from far you might be thinking it cost a lot to study abroad, it cost me less than 3M during my second degree..So get that right, meanwhile PMB was never a poor man before now.

If you didn't jump into conclusion without reading the report through, you would have understood the connexion.

But just to answer you. Terrorists use unregistered sims to communicate. And MTN reluctance to enforce registration help the communication of terror.
