Firstly, it's a good move by the President and commendable.

I only have one issue with this National decision:
An Act of the National Assembly established the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation, included in the amended constitution of the Federal Republic and would require an amendment or a repeal to unbundle the NNPC.

My question is This:
1. Did President Muhammad Buhari consult with the members of the National Assembly in respect to the constitutional provisions before taking the decision to unbundle the NNPC?

2. And was the bodies recognized by the law involved or consulted. These bodies are NUPENG AND PENGASSAN?

Now, its not business as usual. NNPC should match the likes of Saudi Aramco, PetroNas, Petrobras, BP, etc with this unbundling. We prayed for it and it is finally here.

Let me now see how senators and ministers will get their settlement again.
