Mrsbw, I don't think there is anything you can do about the weight now, it's not bad at all cos if you eventually reach 40 weeks, your baby wud be weighing abt 3kg or more. It's now they add so much flesh and weight. So there's nothing to worry about,just eat right dats all.

I just don't want undue induction and prolong labour so as to force baby out though they are scared baby will be on big size now

Term babies weigh between 2.5kg and 4.0kg. Anything less is underweight.
In the next 3 weeks, your baby should chop at least 0.5kg more to arrive at 3.0 thereabout.

How far gone are you? From what I was told in my time, it's the leading twin's position that would determine chances of VB. Head down of leading increases the chances regardless of the position of the 2nd.

At 35 weeks, my leading was lying across,the other was head down. 36 weeks both were head down and by 37 weeks both were breech. I ended up having a c-section at 37weeks+4days cos the dr said the chances of them turning again had reduced as there was little or no space left to accommodate turning.

Also they didn't want to risk having me go into labour with both babies breech as the Dr felt it would be safer to have a c-section.

I really do hope and pray for you that both or at least the leading twin remains head down. In the event though that any change would warant a c-section please take it in good faith and do what is best for you and your babies.

I used Cyclogest pessaries. Make sure to always store it in d fridge or anyhow u can keep it cold/firm, it won't melt dt way. U know it's kinda creamy, like she butter so when d temp gets warm, it becomes runny n it won,t go anywhere dat way.

I used it rectally. It was less messy with minimal discharge.

, same thing happened to me too, the pharmacist didn't tell me how to use it, the 1st time I used it, I was rubbing it like cream lol , store it in the fridge, that way, it will remain in solid form, when u want to use, just wash your hands, remove it, open it as directed and insert deep into vjay, when lying down or squatting. During the time I was using it, no more BD again, and I usually use it last thing at night cos mine was once a day(400mg). And u will need a panty liner cos definitely, the veg fat will still run down.

The best way to use them is through ur anal,cos it makes no mess atall,and doesn't come dripping down,also make sure u store in a cool dry place preferably the fridge, so it can remain solid. I hope this helps.

My EDD was 3rd March,my doctor asked me to come for induction 2day,but he said my baby's head is high and my pelvis is tight,if d induction does progress it ll be a CS.i ve just passed my EDD with 6days.I asked anoda doctor he advised i ask d doc to give me more 4days,dats 41weeks+3days.I dnt ve any medical issue,he did an ultrasound scan ystday,said d baby is 3.4kg but the head is high.I read all thru last night about failed induction when the head is high,its an automatic CS.I dnt ve any prb with dat,but since i ve option of waiting for some days since i am 41weeks+6days today what should i do pls? God is in control my e-sister. I had same issue. Head high & pelvis closed, but my water broke and d best option after induction and no result was a CS at 39weeks.
Just discuss with ur doc on d possibility of u waiting for some days if no show then u can be induced. As long as ur baby's health condition is fine.

I think you should check with your doctor on when to start pregnacare. I started taking mine at about 6weeks but iv read on this thread that you are to wait till 12 weeks before starting.
Pregnacare Max is the newest in the prganacare series and contains calcium amongst other supplements.
My pharmacy sells for 5,600 and its a 28days supply.

Like everyone else said, progesterone pessaries are best when used rectally and store in a fridge.

I just bought d pregnacare plus with omega 3 for 3800n I can't afford d max. That's it oh, if they see you with the big Belle they will just inflate the price, the last time I went, I ended up buying only half of my list, wen I told my sister, she said I shouldn't have gone that they cheated me. So I gave her money to go for the remaining stuffs on my list nd she ended up buying them at almost half the price they wanted to sell to me. The same flask they wanted to sell for 6500, she bought it for 4200. So if you can send someone you should, or look for one confirm baby shop around instead of going to Lagos Island.

I used 3 packs of cyclogest, started when I was 5weeks gone to 11 weeks, even though my gyn said I should use 4 packs,that would have been up to 13weeks, I was tired of it, and since I was also on progesterone injection for a month, I felt there was no need.

600k or 6000? , don't know if they r of diff types ooo, the 1st 2 packs of 400mg was given to me in d hospt plus 8 2ml of progesterone injection everything was 20k plus some hundreds, so I didn't ask how much for only d cyclogest, the 2nd one I bought was at a pharm in karu for 5500 .

@udoomama is 600k oh. D pharmacy at nyanyan said is just only one type dat d person dat sold it made mistake. Maybe she wanted to say 6000k. Dat one is gbese on my neck I don't knw it is dat expensive. I was not even holding up to 2k in my hand dat yesterday sef. I wldnt have bought it.
