Religious riots in Nigeria goes as far back as 1948 in the town of Tafawa Balewa and notably in 1953.
Even before there was boko haram there was Yan Tatsine/ Maitatsine.

Most internet savvy Nigerians are too young to remember the islamist Mohammed Marwa, Yan Tatsine and his followers riots that led to several thousand deaths. After Maitatsine's death in 1980, the movement continued some five years more.

Let's take a look back in Nigerian and see how we got to were we are.

1960s:
The massacre of 60,000 Igbos in 1966 in the North that followed the counter-coup of the same year highlights the religious tensions and conflict that has plagued Nigeria.

The northern muslim murtala mohammed allegedly committed the only clear act of genocide documented during the war, at delta state, which saw unarmed igbo men rounded up and killed. He too was murdered shortly after overthrowing Gowon.

1980s:
The 1980s was a decade noted for religious conflicts as well as the period when Nigeria enrolled to the organisation of Islamic conference by Ibrahim Babangida.

1982: There were clashes in October 1982 when islamists in Kano were able to enforce their power in order to keep the Anglican House Church from expanding its size and power base. They saw it as a threat to the nearby Mosque, even though the Anglican House Church had been there forty years prior to the building of the Mosque.

1982: October 29-30. Further trouble in Maiduguri, Borno State, Maitatsine sects. 118 die.

1984: February 27. Disturbance in Yola, Gongola State. Maitatsine sect, 568 die.

1985: April 26-28 Riot in Gombe, Bauchi State. Maitatsine sect. 105 die.

1986: March, Palm Sunday. Christians and Muslims clash during processions in Ilorin, Kwara State.

1986: May. At the University of Ibadan, Muslims burn the figure of the Risen Christ at the Catholic Chapel of the Resurrection

1987: March 5th and following days. In Kafanchan, Kaduna State, Christians and Muslims clash at the College of Education. 12killed , Dozens of Churches and Mosques burned.

1987: March. Katsina, Funtua, Zaria, Gussau and Kaduna (Kaduna State). A wave of religious riots, many churches are burned and property destroyed, and many lives are lost.

1990s:

Following Obasanjo's lackadaisical attitude to the proponents of a sharia law governed Northern Nigeria, the adoption of sharia law in several northern states took place.
The growth in support for Sharia and for abandoning the secular aims of the drafters of the Settlement of 1960 has transformed northern Nigeria. Nigeria was always a divided country plagued by weak governance and ethnic cleavages, but today, the north and south are like two different countries entirely.
-The national interest

Today, more than half of the core northern states are under full Sharia law. People can be killed for blasphemy, criticizing mohammed or adultery as well as hands chopped of for stealing.

1991: Muslims riot to protest German evangelist Reinhard Bonnke attempted a crusade in Kano

2002: The 2002 Miss World contest was moved from Abuja to London as a result. The rest of the 2000s decade would see inter-religious violence continue in Jos and Kaduna.

2004
*.February 4 - Yelwa massacre, 78 Christians are massacred in Yelwa, muslims are subsequently killed in reprisal attacks.

The reaction to the Mohammed cartoons brought about a series of violent protests in Nigeria and neighboring muslim majority African countries. Clashes between rioters and police claimed several lives, with estimates ranging from 16 to more than a hundred. This led to reprisal attacks in the south of the country, particularly in Onitsha.
More than a hundred lost their lives.

At least from those slaves something good came out of the black race. Left in Africa, they'd have wallowed in idol worship, and cannibalism.

When you see a black successful american, thank the slave traders.

Today, you'd snatch up a u.s visa in a jiffy,if offered one.
We queue up at american and western embassies for a chance to go be slaves in well run countries again.

What good has come out of islam?

You should be the number two problem since you have not contributed to anything in the world, what you know is to castigate and mispresent those that contribute.

So, to you, Muhammad's contributions are good for humanity. If not for him there would have been no ISIL, Book Haram, Al-Shabab, Al-Queada etc.

What have you contributed to the world yourself? So by implication you are next to Muhammad in being the world's problem because you are a supporter of his evil deed.

Because specific instructions were given in islam's 'holiest' book for muslims to have sex slaves and islam's best example was also notorious for frolicking with sex slaves.
