There's no fact in all the post above about spectranet .. I just subscribed this evening and all data bundle plans remains the same... Very cheap as usual.. I did my usual 20gig for 7k.. wish works for 247 ... |

DammyFx:What do mean by that? Can't you read very well. Better go to their site to see for yourself and try to note the commencement date of the new plan |
| Re: Spectranet Increases Tariffs by georgee(m): 7:26pm On Mar 09, 2016 |
DammyFx:. Guy, go to their website and see the nonsense they wrote there or better still try subscribe Mar 15 2016 and see spectranet magic.. |

Immediately when my accumulated data finishes, am moving to smile. Am sure they will loose out when Ntel finally launch |
| Re: Spectranet Increases Tariffs by franzis(m): 8:03pm On Mar 09, 2016 |
DammyFx:u sabi lie... I wanted to subscribe last night for this same data plan, but it's been removed , all I saw was LAG unified nonsense |
| Re: Spectranet Increases Tariffs by Nobody: 12:22am On Mar 10, 2016 |
Spectranet dey vex oo They even started the new plan without waiting until 15th March as advertised. Maybe someone somewhere is seriously looking for how to recoup embezzled fund. Shame! |
| Re: Spectranet Increases Tariffs by Nobody: 2:47am On Mar 10, 2016 |
omoboy08:If u think Spectranet is too expensive then u don't even wanna near smile. Though very fast but it is not cheap.

| Re: Spectranet Increases Tariffs by Nobody: 4:20pm On Mar 10, 2016 |
I had ordered my spectranet today only to discover this increase, i sharply canceled the order... I am so happy... Best decision this month. |
| Re: Spectranet Increases Tariffs by Nobody: 4:37pm On Mar 10, 2016 |
greenhulk:But Smile gives one year validity on some plans starting from 10k |
| Re: Spectranet Increases Tariffs by Nobody: 4:46pm On Mar 10, 2016 |
Ehuatamuigunisi:Do u intend to use 20gb for 1 year? U know it is not possible. I use 25gb in 2-3 weeks. |
| Re: Spectranet Increases Tariffs by Nobody: 4:57pm On Mar 10, 2016 |
greenhulk:I use Smile as a backup network especially when i need high speed Internet for certain transactions. The 10GB last up to 5 months while Spectranet subscription is on monthly basis. I don't recommend Smile as alternative to Spectranet as Smile is very expensive and zaps data. The best alternative to spectranet is Swift. |
| Re: Spectranet Increases Tariffs by georgee(m): 5:59pm On Mar 10, 2016 |
SWIFT's Modem cost 17/22K..Mifi |
| Re: Spectranet Increases Tariffs by Nobody: 6:28pm On Mar 10, 2016 |
georgee:This is where NCC should regulate, that is, device neutrality. We shouldn't buy devices tied to a particular network. I have Smile and Spectranet devices, now I want to switch over to Swift Network, i have to acquire their device. No way. |

If only i had stumbled upon this thread before loading my spectranet hoping to do the knight plan in ibadan. Damn ! now I can't retrieve my money from them... i will kukuma add money to the 4k and do the 24hr plan for 10k. Afterwards I dey port go smile. As 20gb nyt is 6k and much more stable and a real 4g network unlike this epileptic spectranet. I am only using spectranet cuz it's cheaper not because the services are better... now they increased tariff, who get time abeg? |
| Re: Spectranet Increases Tariffs by Habeebpain(op): 11:47am On Mar 11, 2016 |
puskin, honsule, and dragnet. Is this thread not worthy of being on the front page? Or how else is Spectranet supposed to know that people are complaining? |
| Re: Spectranet Increases Tariffs by Habeebpain(op): 11:49am On Mar 11, 2016 |
wolewolsz:My current subscription ends on the 25th. Unless they do what is right, then that is the end of our relationship. |
| Re: Spectranet Increases Tariffs by Habeebpain(op): 11:52am On Mar 11, 2016 |
Ehuatamuigunisi:That's the thing. One will have over 3 modems of the same model but tied to different networks. |
| Re: Spectranet Increases Tariffs by franzis(m): 9:25pm On Mar 11, 2016 |
Ehuatamuigunisi:I heard there is a way to unlock those mifi modems to work with any network |
| Re: Spectranet Increases Tariffs by Habeebpain(op): 8:12am On Mar 12, 2016 |
franzis:Even if you unlock them, do ISPs sell data SIMs only? |
| Re: Spectranet Increases Tariffs by Nobody: 9:47am On Mar 12, 2016 |
Habeebpain:Only Smile sells Data Sim |

| Re: Spectranet Increases Tariffs by amagunnerfan: 10:54am On Mar 16, 2016 |
I am dropping them for sure. When they sent the mail for a price review few days ago, I thought they will be reducing it, not knowing they will be increasing it. Now they lost a loyal customer to Swift just as visafone lost me to them years ago. If Swift are wise, they should reduce their price now. More than 30% of spectranet's customers will surely leave. |
