I miscarried@week 15. This time around my dr placed me on cyclogest from week 6, he said I was goin to stop@20weeks,but @my last anc he decided I shld use it till week 28. I believe it's the cyclogest that God has used to bring me this far. I ve never gone beyond 16weeks even with a cerclage. I'm 23 now. Sorry for the long epistle,i just hope you can continue with the cyclogest.

Drink lots of water and lie down gently. Only if the contractions are painless and regular.

If contractions get painful, get to the hospital asap.

Good evening to all mamas in the house, with great joy, happiness and grateful heart to God I am glad to say after 4 years and for the time time in my 32 years on earth I finally got my BFP today. Uhmmmmmm it was such a long and tiring journey but I give all praise and honor God. I did hysterocopy in August 2014 and iui last year February but it failed, one mama on iui/ivrcthread gave information about one hospital she used in india I contacted them in November, did all the required tests and was set to go to lagos for visa when suddenly my husband said he wasn't interested again, I was devastated I stopped taking all medications even folic acid, started eating all the things I stopped eating cos of ttc in short I was depressed. It even affected my love life with my husband, fast forward to February 14 this year my husband surprised me by taking out to spend the night in one of the biggest hotel in town apologised for cancelling the india trip which was suppose to be in February and informed me that he had made appointment with our doctor for another iui in April, we made up and had a nice time. My sisters the result of which came out to be BFP today. I just want to encourage all that God is still there, He listen to prayers and make things beautiful at his own right time, even though Satan makes our problem look so big we forget to thank God for other things that count. Jehovah God that remembered me even when I thought he has forgotten about me will remember and show mercy to all mamas in the house. So according to an online calculator another #teamnovember here . Pls o mama what is the next thing to do now, can I resume my folic acid now or pregnnacare? I be JJC o

My dear it's well. Wishing you all the best. Cyclogest is expensive,hv been using it for 20weeks now 400mg twice daily i.e. A pack per week. Started buying for 5800 now 6750 has costed me a lot,however I see it as a sacrifice to carry my LO. Anytime hubby and I does not have the money I borrow to pay later. God is our strength and our miracle will be a testimony that My redeemer liveth. It will end in praise.

Okay. I've taken lots of water and been in bed since morning. Even scared to eat anything yet. They are painful but bearable. I'm just 21 weeks

@omojudy it was 7500 where I priced it yesterday. But I guess a lady mistakenly sold it for me at 600n, frm wat mamas have said here I tink I wil continue using it and look for how to go and balance d lady.

I encourage you to take it till when your Doctor certifies that it is safe for you to stop. Please, if you can find a way to source the money apart from asking your husband, you do. 4-5 years down the marriage and no child ,if care is not taken, he will still vent his anger that he doesn't have a child on you. Because any of his friends wife did not have need for such drugs does not mean there are no women out there using it to keep their pregnancy safe till delivery. From the little you have gathered here, you can see that you are not alone in this....that pregnant woman you see on the road maybe on such drugs but you won't know unless she tells you. This does not make you any less inferior!! God be with you!!

Good day my sisters, whenever I finish eating, my stomach starts making this rumbling noises,(loud ones for that matter) , which last close to 20mins, even d person sitting next to me can hear it. Is anyone experiencing same?

Thank the Lord with us! My elder sister gave birth to a bouncing baby girl at past 11 last night at 34 weeks, 2.2kg. She was already in the hospital for two weeks because the amniotic fluid was leaking... Then contractions started on Monday, they couldn't stop it and the cervix was still closed. Eventually, on Wednesday the cervix was open, but didn't progress beyond 2cn. So they made the decision to do CS. Thank God they did cos when they opened her up they found out there was no amniotic fluid left. By the grace of God, they didn't need to put her in the incubator, she's very healthy!

Mitchyy why potash? Pls dis is not a bed rest matter if d pain doesn't stop by tmrw morning i'll advise u head straight to d hospital. Do a scan, chk baby's heartbeat etc.


Pls all preggy mama 's let's watch wat we ingest, try to avoid stuff like lime, potash, lipton etc. I practically stayed away from African salad (abacha) thru out my preggy days cos of the potash they use in making it.

@Omojudy; yes I am based in Lagos,but no I didn't do cerclage this time around. My doctor suggested it but,I declined,cos I did it last time and it didn't work,and he couldn't prove to me that my cervix was incompetent. I'm just on cyclogest,ventolin and aspirin. I bled sometimes in week 12. Asides that i've been fine. So excited as i've neva come this far. I know God ll perfect it. God ll come true for us all. @mitchyy:yup i'm team july,told u already joor. Mitchy abeg next time use ugwarine ( wooden salt). Please on no account should you use potash o, if you no see ugwarine fro where you dey no eat owho soup.
