CHIDIEJIOGU: yeah!! Thats a brilliant suggestion. But sadly, the Army men were not deployed to quell the protesters, they were already stationed at there to provide security to the facility. The Nigerian Army and even the Police dont just move around with anti-riot gears. Even abroad, Anti-riot gears are deployed from base. Using the whip must have been a spur of the moment decision based on the equipments available to them at that time. |

deandavid: Women can't disarm anybody because they don't have hands. Aren't they women in the military? Gender equality means treat both sexes equally. If its ok to flog men then its ok to flog women 1 Like |

MrAboki: Your comment is understandable. Your mothers are treated like rags where you came from. That is why you would abduct under age girls and impregnate them. |

If post is true then let the army commander go and tell what he said to the monkeys or the pigs in his village, if the pigs in his village have not become wise and will believe anything, for even the monkeys will not take that story or lies from him. After that let him come and tell people: Nigerians the real and true reason while he molested women on peaceful protest, or another at a least a reasonable lie. The army officer who ordered this should be tried and if found guilty should be demoted a little and put in office far away from the citizens. Let it be gone are the days in which anyone will just be doing things anyhow and the way they like in Nigeria. Let each one of us be accountable to all and face the consequences of evil deeds. Thank you |

"In separate reactions to the journalists, an angry Lt Oworobo had described them as idiots and madmen, allegedly saying: “You’re an idiot. You’re a mad man. Why are you calling me? So I should report to you abi? Who are you to call me? If you ever call me in your life, I’ll deal mercilessly with you.” Why do MAD MEN easily call sane men mad This apparently mad man in state uniform believes because he is a soldier, he is not answerable or accountable to society. What a raving mad man! As long as he is in the delta, hot bullets would make him sober, sooner than later. |

Women? Disarm a military officer? Are they the combination of Wonder woman, hawk girl, super girl and She-hulk? Nigeria is gradually becoming a blockbuster |

BTW, Not wise to mess with armed soldiers! Ask MKO Abiola and Fela Ransome-Kuti through the books. An interrogation of their experience should obviate any doubt concerning my expressed position. |

bettercreature: Look at this gullible one. So you believe that thug that the women were trying to disarm the soldiers? If you believe that, then you'll believe anything. He is just trying to cover his stinking behind. I hope the women get a good lawyer to sue them. Or get some guys to at least beat up the Lieutenant. He is definitely an idiot. 1 Like |
